Rogers Memorial to hold ‘ Power of Nature’ fundraising event

“The Power of Nature-Restoring Mind, Body and Soul” is the theme of the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 11th annual women’s gathering. Benefiting spiritual care, the event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee.

Trenni Kusnierek, a national sportscaster and mental health advocate, will serve as the emcee, while a patient and Melanie Hammer, a registered horticultural therapist with the American Horticultural Therapy Association, will be the speakers.

Guests are asked to wear “a touch of lime green,” the color for mental health awareness, and to bring a new stuffed animal for a Rogers patient.
