ReServe Interactive, headquartered in Delafield, was founded 12 years ago and has its sales and service office located in Livermore, Cal. The privately held company specializes in hospitality industry software applications for catering, event management, dining reservations and table management.

The firm provides the only fully integrated solution for managing banquets and restaurant reservations in one system, according to Lynn Carter, executive vice president and chief technology officer.

Carter and company co-founder Beth Goodell, president and chief marketing officer, have amassed more than 20 years of experience in both hospitality management and software development between the two of them.

“Beth’s background includes 10 years in the hospitality industry,” said Carter, whose background is in high-tech medical imaging. “She recognized that there was banquet space available, but hospitality salespeople were unable to adequately do a good job of selling because they were bogged down in paperwork. Beth saw a need for a user-friendly computerized method. That’s when she and I teamed up to create our software.”

The year 2007 marked the 11th consecutive year of growth for the company. Carter and Goodell both attribute that growth to the innovative development of a web-based version of their product, as well as partnerships with key customers such as Levy Restaurants, Wolfgang Puck Catering, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, The Melting Pot and Brunswick Recreation Centers.

ReServe’s Wisconsin-based customers include Lambeau Field and the Wisconsin Center District.

The company’s latest innovation is a host-based version of its software.

“With more than 1,000 customers nationwide and sales exceeding $1.5 million, ReServe Interactive has established itself as a leader in intuitive, intelligent software solutions for the hospitality industry,” said Maureen Remmel of WingSpan Marketing Communications. Remmel nominated ReServe for the IQ Award.

“This year, we’re utilizing advanced customer service initiatives in addition to our new hosted-based support portals and training modules. We’re also extending service and support hours, and we’re adding to our staff,” Carter said. “We’re proud of the engineering talents on our staff. We’re always striving to stay on the cutting edge of our technology.”
