Renovations and expansion planned for Mequon County Club clubhouse

Organizations:

Mequon Country Club plans to renovate its 44,000-square-foot clubhouse and build a 14,000-square-foot addition onto the facility.

The property was sold earlier this year for $1.5 million to Tom Weickardt, who said he planned to renovate the property.

“They’re basically giving the whole thing a facelift on the interior and the exterior,” said Jack Zader, assistant director of community development for Mequon.

The project will include a new, 2,875-square-foot second floor game room, to be built over the locker rooms; and a 4,700-square-foot second-floor outdoor patio, with an enclosed area underneath for golf cart storage.
