New Berlin-based Buyseasons will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the completion of its new 360,000-square-foot facility at 5915 S. Moorland Road in New Berlin.

Nominations are now being sought for the 2008 WCREW (Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women) Showcase awards. Nominations can be submitted by filling out a notice of nomination form at: and returning it no later than Aug. 1. The city of Milwaukee recently announced that its new home catalogue is available to help future homeowners build on city lots. "The architect-designed plans are permit ready, meet design requirements, and are perfect for urban lots in many Milwaukee neighborhoods," according to a city news release. "The catalog features styles that complement Milwaukee’s existing neighborhood housing while providing open-concept floor plans and amenities to satisfy today’s buyers. These energy efficient designs, when built in one of Milwaukee’s walkable neighborhoods, can cut driving costs by placing new residents close to work, shopping and public transportation."

The Kenosha Theatre Restoration Project will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, at the theater at 5913 6th Ave.
