WCREW announces nominees for showcase awards
Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women (WCREW)

The WCREW Showcase Awards honors commercial real estate development/redevelopment projects that exemplify job creation/economic development, creative use/reuse of space, notable architecture, positive impact on the community, sustainable development or have overcome obstacles or other challenges. Inland awarded management contract
Milwaukee-based Inland Companies Inc. was recently awarded the property management contract for the Foot Locker retail building at 7800 W. Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee. The 68,905-square-foot building is owned by Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Investors Real Estate Trust. Peggy Attwood of Inland has been assigned as property manager.

Callen Construction wins awards
Muskego-based Callen Construction Inc., a family-owned home improvement and remodeling contractor, recently received a pair of 2008 Master Elite Excellence Awards from GAF Materials Corporation. The company received a Training Excellence Award, which required Callen Construction to prove its commitment to training and continuous improvement. The company also received an Installation Excellence Award, which recognizes companies that consistently install with a high level of quality.

Raffle to benefit Habitat
Individuals who attend the Fine Furnishings & Craft Show – Milwaukee, on Sept. 26-27 at the Midwest Airlines Center could win chairs decorated by local artists in a raffle that will benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds will support the building of affordable housing in Milwaukee. Proceeds will go towards building simple, decent and affordable housing in partnership with those in need.
