Quad/Graphics narrows loss

Sussex-based Quad/Graphics Inc. reported third quarter net earnings of $24.4 million, or 50 cents per share, up from $12.6 million, or 26 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2013.

Revenue at the printing company was $1.2 billion, flat from the third quarter a year ago.

Quad attributed the increase to the acquisition of Brown Printing, which was completed on May 30.
