Public invited to Newsmaker Luncheon featuring Barrett

Barrett Mayor Tom Barrett will be the featured guest at the Milwaukee Press Club’s next Newsmaker Luncheon.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 19, from 11:45 to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee at 137 E. Wells St.
Barrett, a Democrat, is running to be the next governor of Wisconsin. He will square off with a Republican in November.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Neumann was featured as a Newsmaker by the club earlier this month, and fellow Republicans Scott Walker and Dick Leinenkugel will be featured at later dates.
A panel of professional journalists will interview Barrett during the Newsmaker Luncheon.
