The former Bavarian Inn building in Glendale will reopen April 26 as the Bavarian Bierhaus. The new restaurant will feature a 15-barrel brewery, beer hall, dining room, tap room and banquet hall.

Bavarian Bierhaus beer hall will have seating for 350 guests and serve traditional German lagers and specialty craft beers.

The brewery will have the capacity to produce eight different beers and brew more than 2,000 barrels of beer annually.

A full-sized entertainment area is set up for bands.

The King Dining room offers in-house catering and a full menu.

The outdoor beer garden seats up to 140 guests.

The facility is owned by Brauhaus Milwaukee LLC. and the brew master is Nate Bahr, a former Lakefront Brewery brewer, who is planning to make more than 2,000 barrels of beer a year.

The 15-acre Bavarian Inn property includes three soccer fields and Heidelberg Park, where Oktoberfest festivities are held each year during the four weekends following Labor Day.
