Portfolio of three Cudahy warehouse buildings sold for $27.3 million

Rosemont, Ill.-based investment group Building ABC Investor LLC recently purchased three warehouse/distribution buildings in Cudahy from Oak Brook, Ill.-based Centerpoint Properties Trust for $27.3 million, according to state records.

Building ABC Investor LLC is a group of investors led by executives at Colliers International’s office in Rosemont, Ill. None of the investors could immediately be reached for comment.

The building portfolio purchased by the group consists of a 1,069,000-square-foot distribution center at 1900 E. College Ave., a 24,420-square-foot building at 1920 E. College Ave., and a 100,920-square-foot warehouse bulding at 2100-30 E. College Ave.

Ace World-Wide Moving & Storage Co. Inc. is a tenant in the 1900 E. College Ave. building.

Alpha Baking Co. occupies the building at 1920 E. College Ave. The building by the company is used as a bread depot. The company ships bread from its bakeries to the building, and the bread is delivered from there to its customers including restaurants and schools.
