Pleasant Prairie radio station property sold for $1.1 million

West Plam Beach, Fla.-based Digity Companies LLC recently acquired a 7.5-acre property in Pleasant Prairie that includes the radio station offices and studios for rock station WIIL FM 95 WIIL Rock and news talk station WLIP AM 1050. The property was sold by Englewood, Colo.-based NextMedia Group Inc. for $1.1 million.

The property sale is part of a deal announced in October that NextMedia would sell 33 radio stations to Digity.

NextMedia sold nine Chicago-area stations to Digity, including the two in Pleasant Prairie.
