What has fueled your company’s growth?

Service; specifically the ability to deliver complex printed circuit board prototypes in three to five days.

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?

Management; ultimately as managers we need to develop a business plan with specific metrics; provide the resources necessary for successful execution then hold ourselves accountable for the results.

Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months?

We have embraced Lean manufacturing methods; we have performed two value stream mapping exercises in the last 18 months and are working on implementing action items from the latest value stream map to accelerate manufacturing efficiency; value added content and reduce cost.

Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them?

Michael Cudahy. He is a true visionary; very pragmatic;created Marquette Electronics with management methods and philosophies that were innovative; effective and not commonly practiced at the time.

What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months?

Uncertain; 2010 through June of 2011 we had robust revenue growth. In July we witnessed a pull back in sales bookings; customers have cancelled or pushed orders out. We are not sure if this is a short term pull back or the early signs of a more serious economic downturn.

What is your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession?

Execution and relentless attention to detail in providing products that directly contribute to our customers success.
