Banking & Finance

Mutual Financial Group, a subsidiary of Brown Deer-based Bank Mutual, has added Adam Gafner as a financial consultant. Gafner has more than a decade of experience in banking and investment consulting. He previously served as a financial consultant for Associated Investment Services. In his new role, he will assist clients in creating investment, insurance, estate and retirement income plans.

WaterStone Bank recently promoted two assistant branch managers to branch managers in Wauwatosa and Oak Creek. The bank promoted Sarah Maycock to branch manager of the Wauwatosa branch and Tony Gomez to branch manager in Oak Creek. Both have ascended through banking roles at WaterStone Bank. Maycock has served as a personal banker, relationship banker and assistant branch manager. Gomez has worked as a teller, personal banker, relationship banker and assistant branch manager.

Town Bank has added Amber Keller as senior vice president, agriculture banking, in Hartland. Keller will handle business development, portfolio management and product innovation for the bank. She has 23 years of experience in agriculture banking. Prior to joining Town Bank, she served as vice president, Ag Lending and Business Development, at Union Bank & Trust Company.

Waukesha State Bank has promoted Josh Zabler to bank manager in Muskego. Zabler launched his career with Waukesha State Bank as a teller in 2013. Since then, he has worked as a customer service representative, assistant teller supervisor, teller supervisor and personal banker. In his new role, he will oversee daily operations at the Muskego branch with a focus on business development, personnel management, customer service, lending, relationship management and community service.

Building & Construction

Brookfield-based Hunzinger Construction Company has added five new employees. The company hired Dan Cole as a senior estimator, Emily Johnson as marketing coordinator, Donnie Bogle-Boesiger as an assistant project manager, Mitch Sperka as a staff accountant, and Daniel Von Rueden as a project superintendent.

Engineering

Brookfield-based R.A. Smith National has added Brian Skupien as a structural engineer. Skupien is a recent graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and studied structural engineering. At R.A. Smith National, he will work in the structural services division with a focus on building design, including resident and light industrial construction. The firm also recently hired Jeff McBain as a construction services representative in its construction services division. McBain has more than 27 years of experience in public works construction.

Government Organizations

The City of West Bend has named Ashley Mukasa economic development manager. Mukasa previously served as public relations manager at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. Her responsibilities in her new role will include outreach to businesses in the community, business marketing efforts, administrative management of government grants, and management of the city’s revolving loan fund with Economic Development Washington County.

Health Care

Columbia St. Mary’s Bay View Family Health Center in Milwaukee has added Dr. Michael Brewer, who is specialized in family medicine and obstetrics. Brewer completed a medical degree in 2012 at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz., and completed a residency in family medicine at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital in La Grange, Ill. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. His medical interests include women’s health, obstetrics, postpartum care, breastfeeding, newborn care and mental health.

Julie Badding has joined Freedom Physical Therapy Services in Brookfield as a physical therapist. Badding largely focuses on treating orthopedic conditions and also specializes in sports medicine.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Marcus Theatres, a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp., has promoted three leaders. The company recently promoted Clint Wisialowski to vice president of sales, Rob Novak to vice president of concessions, and Matt Lee to vice president of operations.

Legal Services

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., Milwaukee, has named Lisa Lawless leader of the Appellate Team and Ross Anderson as co-leader of the Business & Commercial Litigation Team. Lawless works as an attorney out of the firm’s Milwaukee office, serving on the Appellate, Business & Commercial Litigation, Consumer Financial Services and Intellectual Property Litigation teams. Anderson is a shareholder in the Milwaukee office and is part of the firm’s general counsel. He is the firm’s only elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Wisconsin Chapter. He also serves on the firm’s Construction Services Litigation, Professional Liability Litigation, and Business & Commercial Litigation teams.

Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., Milwaukee, has promoted Andrew Narrai to chief marketing officer. Narrai has been with the firm since 2014 and previously served as marketing director. In his elevated role, he will steer all marketing communications, public relations, business development, and event and digital marketing. He will also continue leading overall marketing strategy and helping attorneys enhance client relationships. Additionally, Narrai will focus on engaging new constituencies for the firm.

Nonprofit

The Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa has appointed Lisa Krueger vice president, nursing. Krueger previously worked for 16 years at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Her roles there included patient care manager, patient care supervisor and pediatric nurse. She also served as a nursing assistant at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee. In her new position, she will oversee the Nursing Department at the Lutheran Home and will guide policies, procedures, regulations and more for the nursing staff.

Printing

Milwaukee-based Olympus Group has appointed Jason Ahart chief operating officer. Ahart has 16 years of experience in exhibit production. As COO at Olympus Group, he will direct his attention to quality initiatives and production systems, such as lean manufacturing and long-term growth. He will also handle the company’s digital printing, sewing, purchasing, warehouse and prepress departments.

Technology

Milwaukee-based Scanalytics Inc. has appointed Jason Kayzar director of operations. Kayzar has 20 years of technology experience. Fourteen years of his career were spent as president of MC2 Inc. Much of his role will center on increasing productivity, enhancing service quality and advising strategic direction.

Transportation

Milwaukee-based Badger Truck Center has named Chris Duncan marketing manager, a role in which she will be responsible for marketing strategy and development. Duncan has more than 20 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining Badger Truck Center, she advised DUECO, Inc. on CRM and electronic communications.
