Seth Gordon joined Kohnke Hanneken, Milwaukee, as a senior copywriter. Prior to joining Kohnke Hanneken, Gordon served as a copywriter for Planet Propaganda, Madison. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, hired Betsy Francoeur as an account executive in the public relations group and Zach Szewczyk as an assistant account executive in the account services group. Prior to joining the agency, Francoeur served as a marketing communications manager for Landmark Services Cooperative, Cottage Grove. Szewczyk previously served as a marketing consultant for Minacs, Milwaukee.

James Schall joined Avicom Marketing Communications, Waukesha, as chief financial officer. Schall has more than 30 years of accounting experience and most recently served as chief financial officer of Alby Materials, Burlington.

Erin Ruenger joined Zeppos & Associates, Milwaukee, as an account coordinator. Prior to joining Zeppos & Associates, Ruenger served as the special events coordinator in the department of university relations and communications for UW-Stevens Point. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from UW-LaCrosse.

Banking & Finance

Lori Craig joined Northern Trust, Chicago, as senior vice president and head of private banking services for Wisconsin. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Craig served as private client supervisor and senior vice president for Bank of America’s Private Bank, Charlotte, N.C.

Robert W. Baird & Co Inc., Milwaukee, promoted Thomas Lacy to managing director. Lacy joined the firm in 1997 and leads the firm’s vehicle supply investment banking activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia.

Building & Construction

The Brookfield office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, hired James Holveck, Matt Scharenbroch, Dan Zess and John Schuessler as field engineers and Terry Klingele as a safety engineer. Holveck holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Stout. Scharenbroch and Zess hold bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering from UW-Madison. Schuessler holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University. Prior to joining Mortenson, Klingele served as the corporate safety director for H & H Group, Madison.

The Milwaukee office of Gilbane, Providence, R.I., promoted Andy Wiegman and Adam Jelen to senior project managers and hired Malissa Westcot as business development coordinator. Wiegman has been with Gilbane for 10 years. Jelen joined Gilbane in 2004 and has 16 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Gilbane, Westcot served as a marketing coordinator for the Milwaukee office of STS Consultants, Vernon Hills, Ill.

Consulting

Vernal Management Consultants, Milwaukee, hired Nicole Troia as co-office manager and promoted Judy Borawski to consultant and resource manager.

Lynn Zimmer joined Corporate Resource Development, Muskego, as a business consultant. Zimmer has 30 years of management experience and most recently worked for

Community Bank & Trust, Sheboygan.

Education

Christopher Stolarski joined Marquette University, Milwaukee, as a media relations specialist in the office of marketing and communication.

Stolarski has more than three years of public and media relations experience and most recently served as an account manager for Borshoff Johnson

Matthews, Indianapolis.

Engineering

Crispell-Snyder, Lake Geneva, promoted Ron Dalton to executive vice president. Dalton joined the firm in 1988 and currently manages the Milwaukee office, with general management control over the public works division. Dalton also serves as the municipal engineer for the villages of Cleveland, Adell, Oostburg and the Town of Richfield. 

Tom Dougherty joined R.A. Smith & Associates, Brookfield, as a civil engineer in the transportation division. Dougherty has five years of experience in transportation design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from UW-Madison.

Dean Robitaille joined the visualization division of National Survey & Engineering,

a division of R.A. Smith & Associates, Brookfield. Robitaille has more than five years of experience in virtual imaging. He holds a bachelor’s degree in media arts and animation from The Illinois Institute of Art.

Zoy Begos joined Konicek Environmental Consulting, Port Washington, as senior project manager. Begos has 12 years of environmental and engineering consulting experience.

Applied Technologies, Brookfield, hired Gregg Geigler as an electrical engineer and Edward Longhini as a water/ wastewater engineer. Geigler has more than 20 years of experience in

electrical engineering. Longhini has more than 10 years of experience in civil engineering.

Health Care

ProHealth Care, Oconomowoc, promoted Mary Jo O’Malley to vice president of operations at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and ProHealth Home Care and AngelsGrace Hospice. Prior to her promotion, O’Malley served as executive director of ProHealth Home Care and AngelsGrace Hospice.

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Glendale, promoted Dr. Steve Cardamone to chief medical officer. Cardamone had most recently served as senior vice president and chief medical officer of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Iowa since 2000.

Hospitality

Cody Gulrud joined S & L Hospitality, Madison, as general manager for the Hilton Garden Inn at Pabst Farms, Oconomowoc. Gulrud has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and most recently served as assistant general manager of Blue Harbor Resort, Sheboygan.

Jason Ferraro joined Ambassador Hotel, Milwaukee, as executive chef for Envoy. Prior to joining Envoy, Ferraro served as executive sous chef at Platinum Hotel, Las Vegas; Hotel Metro, Milwaukee; Bacchanalia, Atlanta; and the Ritz Carlton, Buckhead, Ga.; executive pastry chef at Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee and chef de cuisine at Bjonda, Wauwatosa.

Insurance

The Milwaukee office of Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH), Glen Allen, Va., hired Doug Daszczuk as an account executive and Patrick Brown

as an account executive and benefits consultant. Prior to joining HRH, Daszczuk served as an agent for Cornerstone America, a division of Mid-West National Life Insurance Company of Tennessee, a wholly owned subsidiary of HealthMarkets, North Richland Hills, Texas. Brown has more than three years of sales experience and most recently served as a sales analyst for Humana, Louisville, Ky.

Jessica Winski joined Michael Best & Friedrich, Milwaukee, as an associate in the labor and employment relations practice group. She holds a law degree from The John Marshall Law School.

Carrie Norbin Killoran rejoined Michael Best & Friedrich, Milwaukee, as a partner in the health care practice group. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College, a master’s degree in public policy from

Harvard University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Manufacturing

Charlie O’Brien joined the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), Milwaukee, as vice president of agricultural services. O’Brien has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry. Prior to joining AEM, O’Brien served as Farm Plan & AgLine Product Manager for John Deere Credit, part of Deere & Company, Moline, Ill.

Racine Metal-Fab, Racine, promoted Dean Popek to chief financial officer. Popek joined Racine Metal-Fab in 2002 and most recently served as controller.

Joan Tamboli, vice president of PerMar, Germantown, and Christopher Martz, assistant vice president of Precision Innovations, Germantown, joined the board of directors for Precision Innovations and PerMar.

Media

Metroparent Magazine, West Milwaukee, promoted Erica Gumieny to sales director. Gumieny has been with Metroparent Magazine for more than three years and most recently served as a sales executive.

Patricia Stevens joined RFP Commercial, Milwaukee, as a real estate broker.


Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Emily Hubbard joined Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, Waukesha. Hubbard specializes in small animal critical care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University and a veterinary medicine degree from the University of Minnesota.
