Mike Basse joined Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, as an art director. Basse previously served as an art director and designer for Copper Advertising, Kalamazoo, Mich.
Andrew Griesemer joined Thiel Design, Milwaukee, as multimedia designer.
Jodi Paynter joined Celtic, Brookfield, as account executive. Paynter previously served as a public relations coordinator for Wisconsin State Fair Park, West Allis.

Architecture
Patricia Algiers joined Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee, as corporate studio strategy director. Algiers previously served as the commissioner of development for the City of Milwaukee.

Brian Kazan joined Community Mortgage Resources, a division of Community Bank & Trust, Sheboygan, as a loan originator. Kazan will work from the Glendale office. He has more than nine years of loan experience and most recently worked for Robbins & Lloyd Mortgage, Milwaukee; Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Des Moines, Iowa and Approved Mortgage, Greenwood, Ind.
Town Bank of Elm Grove, a division of Town Bank, Delafield, hired Michael Gryczka as senior vice president of commercial banking and senior loan officer; Robert Hoepfner as vice president of private banking; Chris Zirbes as vice president of commercial banking; Michael Hughes as commercial banking officer and Lorraine Vaughn as retail market manager. Gryczka has more than 16 years of banking experience; Hoepfner has more than 15 years of experience and Vaughn has more than 20 years of experience. Zirbes and Hughes most recently worked for Town Bank of Delafield.
Linda Plennes joined Bank Mutual, Milwaukee, as bank office manager at the Brookfield Square office location.
Mark Melum joined Johnson Financial Group, Racine, as senior vice president
of retail line and business manager for Johnson Bank, Racine. Melum has more than 13 years of retail banking experience.

Building & Construction
VJS Construction Services (VJS), Pewaukee, promoted Chad Bathke to vice president of project management and pre-construction services and hired Eric Lutterman as senior project manager, Aaron Duffy as assistant project manager, Jackie Volk and Laura Loos as project coordinators and Molly Peller as marketing coordinator. Bathke joined VJS in 1995 and most recently served as vice president.
CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, hired Ed Purcell as health care and senior living business development director; Michelle Pelke as senior project accountant and John Dube as project manager in the operations department. Purcell previously served as director of master planning and director of marketing and business development for Welman Architects, Waukesha. Pelke has 11 years of experience in project accounting. Dube has 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
Peter Schneider joined Groth Design Group, Cedarburg, as project designer. Schneider holds a bachelor’s degree from the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
Bailey Collier joined VJS Development Group, Pewaukee, as development assistant. Collier holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and geography from UW-Whitewater.
Bill Widen joined JX Enterprises, Rockford, Ill., the parent company of Peterbilt Wisconsin, Pewaukee, as vice president of human resources. Widen has 26 years of experience in human resources, training and development.
Cary Bilicki joined Briohn Building, Brookfield, as a senior project manager.

Beverly Anderson, executive director for Ebenezer Child Care Centers, Milwaukee, will serve as president of the Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association (WCCAA). Anderson also serves on the Early Childhood Council for Milwaukee County, is the chairperson of the Milwaukee Child Care Alliance, is board member for the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau and is a member of the National Association of Child Care Professionals (NACCP), National Child Care Association (NCCA) and the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families (WCCF).

Commercial Furnishing
Shane Blackman joined Schroeder Solutions, New Berlin, as the sales team leader. Blackman has 8 years of sales and management experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-La Crosse.

Education
Susan Smith joined Alverno College, Milwaukee, as vice president of enrollment planning and management. Smith previously served as vice president of administration for Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, for nine years.
Janice Simmons-Welburn joined Marquette University, Milwaukee, as dean of the university library. Simmons-Welburn previously served as associate dean of libraries for the University of Arizona.

Engineering
Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, promoted Sean Sullivan and Anthony Petersen to stockholders in the firm. Sullivan and Petersen serve as project engineers with Ruekert/Mielke. Sullivan joined Ruekert/Mielke in 1996. Petersen joined the company in 2001.
Rachel De Sombre joined R.A. Smith & Associates, Brookfield, as project engineer in the transportation division. De Sombre has 10 years of transportation engineering experience.

Graphic Design
McDill Design, Milwaukee, hired Rosana Ibarra as a graphic designer and Mike Grunwald as a Web site developer. Grunwald most recently served as designer for Super Sky Products, Mequon.

Health Care
Karen Amoroso joined SynergyHealth, West Bend, as executive director of SynergyHealth Foundation. Amoroso has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and public relations and most recently served as director of development for the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, San Diego.
The Milwaukee office of UnitedHealthcare, Minnetonka, Minn., promoted Jon Klett to vice president of public sector sales for Wisconsin. Klett has about 15 years of experience in the health care industry and previously served as an account sales executive in the private sector.
Dr. Jean Ibric joined the Covenant Medical Group Rawson Clinic, Franklin. Ibric is a family practice physician. She holds a medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Lisa Recht joined ProHealth Care Regency Senior Communities, New Berlin, as director of community services for assisted living and attended care. Recht holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from UW-Whitewater.
Dr. Tracey Lee Cornella-Carlson joined the medical staff at Rogers Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, as an adult psychiatrist. Cornella-Carlson specializes in the treatment of eating disorders in inpatient, residential and partial hospitalization settings. She holds a medical degree from the Chicago Medical School.
Dr. Sunila O’Connor joined the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, as assistant professor of neurology specializing in pediatric neurology and the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. O’Connor previously served on the staff of the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, promoted Dr. Beth Drolet to medical director of birthmarks and vascular anomalies and hired Dr. Praveen Goday as program director of nutritional support. Drolet also serves as medical director of dermatology at Children’s Hospital and as an associate professor of dermatology at the Medial College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. She joined the medical staff of Children’s Hospital in 1995. Goday also serves as a pediatric gastroenterologist at Children’s Hospital and as an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Medical College.
Katherine Peterson joined The Crossings at Tudor Oaks, Muskego, as marketing director.

Hospitality
Jennifer Church, vice president of Milmark Hotel/Motel Investments, Oconomowoc, joined the board of directors for the Hotel Brokers International (HBI), Kansas City, Mo. Church currently serves as vice chair of the membership committee for the Wisconsin Innkeepers Association, Brookfield.

Insurance
David Petzold joined the Waukesha office of Humana, Louisville, Ky., as vice president of network operations with a focus in Wisconsin. Petzold previously served as director of contracting and reimbursement for Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, for 18 years.
Integrated Risk Solutions, Delafield, promoted Brad Hallmark to director of client claim advocacy. Hallmark has been with Integrated Risk Solutions for four years.

Legal Services
Erin Dickinson joined Michael Best & Friedrich, Milwaukee, as a litigation associate. Dickinson previously practiced with Germer, Gertz, Beaman and Brown in Austin, Texas. She holds a law degree from University of Texas Law School.
Robert Rothackerjoined Quarles & Brady, Milwaukee, as a partner in the employee benefits group. Rothacker holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary and a law degree from the University of Michigan.
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, Milwaukee, hired four attorneys. Diana Goodman joined the firm as an associate in the business law department and as a member of the multi-disciplinary product distribution and franchise law team; Christine McAllister joined as an associate in the employee benefits department and as a member of the executive compensation team and Tiffany Roepsch joined as an associate in the health care department. Robert Habich joined the Waukesha office as an associate in the real estate department.

Landscaping and Maintenance
Lynn Litzau joined Bret Achtenhagen’s Seasonal Services, Mukwonago, as a maintenance account representative. Litzau has experience in commercial and residential landscape maintenance and 15 years of experience in customer service.

Bonnie North joined 89.7 WUWM – Milwaukee Public Radio, Milwaukee, as arts producer and reporter of "At 10." North previously served as the host of various classical and jazz music shows for Vermont Public Radio for seven years.
Drew Olson joined OnMilwaukee.com, Milwaukee, as senior editor, columnist and sports editor. Olson previously worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 20 years. Olson also serves as co-host of "The D-List" on ESPN Radio, Milwaukee, and is a regular contributor to "The Bob and Brian Show" on WHQG-The Hog.

Real Estate
Brad Steinke joined Concord Development, Mequon, as vice president of development. Steinke most recently served as the director of community development for the City of Mequon for more than 24 years.
Shorewest Realtors, Brookfield, hired Katrina Lindberg in the West Bend/Hartford office; Deborah Coe in the Racine office and Patrick Fugger in the Delavan office.
Karen Korene joined Ogden & Co., Milwaukee, in the commercial brokerage division. Korene has experience in sales and marketing.

Retail
Todd Wilson joined Russ Darrow Honda, Milwaukee, as service advisor. Wilson has 20 years of experience as a service advisor for multiple Honda dealerships in the Milwaukee area.

Staffing
The Milwaukee office of Kelly Financial Resources, a division of Kelly Services, Troy, Mich., promoted Mike Thompson to branch manager. Thompson has about 15 years of experience in the staffing industry and most recently served as a business development manager for Kelly Financial Services.

Technology
Steve Frechette joined CCI, Milwaukee, as a network and helpdesk administrator.
Allen Strelow joined Clifton Gunderson Technology Solutions, Milwaukee, as a senior network engineer. Strelow has more than seven years of technology consulting experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Oshkosh.
