DuPont joins BizTimes Team

BizTimes Media LLC has hired Jacki DuPont as its new multimedia marketing assistant. DuPont graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in May with a bachelor of arts degree in print journalism, as well as a bachelor of arts in history.

While in college, DuPont worked as a broadcast journalism professor’s teaching assistant; a writer and copy editor for UW-Eau Claire’s award-winning student newspaper, The Spectator; and also served internships as a news intern with the ABC affiliate in Eau Claire and as an editorial intern with the Reader’s Digest Association in Greendale.

The multimedia marketing assistant position is new to BizTimes. In her new role, DuPont will be responsible for BizTimes’ directories, circulation and other databases. DuPont also will be working with the company’s production department to present content in the award-winning BizTimes Milwaukee magazine and its website, www.biztimes.com.

Brookfield-based Vrakas/Blum, S.C., recently announced that Lindsay Rudkin has accepted the position of business development senior with the firm. Rudkin joined Vrakas/Blum in 2005 and previously served as a senior accountant.

Rosalind Elliott has been promoted to account executive/interactive at LePoidevin Marketing, Brookfield. She joined the company in November of 2008, and previously served as assistant account executive.

Brookfield-based Bader Rutter & Associates has promoted Toni Czajka to the position of group leader in the agency’s account management group. Czajka previously served as an agency team leader. Czajka joined the firm in 2006 as an account supervisor.

Banking & Finance

M&I Wealth Management, Milwaukee, has added Jean Golla as vice president and private banker for M&I Wealth Management’s southeast Wisconsin region. Golla has more than 25 years of experience working with major financial services firms in the Milwaukee area.

Building & Construction

Neenah-based Miron Construction Co., Inc. has hired Patricia Bergeson as a project coordinator for Miron’s Wauwatosa office. Bergeson has more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, having most recently served as a marketing/business development assistant for another large general contractor located in Milwaukee.

Distribution & Packaging

Midland Packaging & Display, Franksville, has added Kerry Winans and Mark Smith as account managers in its sales department.

Education

Divine Savior Holy Angels High School has hired Kimberly Gardner as vice president of marketing and enrollment, and Kathleen Cullen as director of campus ministry.

Health Care

Dr. Todd Eisenberg, has joined the staff of physicians at Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc. Eisenberg is also a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and was an AACAP award recipient in 2006 and 2009. He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Academy of Occupational and Organizational Psychiatry and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Dr. James Thomas, Ph.D., has also been appointed professor of medicine in the division of hematology/oncology at The Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

Eric Larson, Ph.D., has been appointed assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staffs at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. Prior to coming to the Medical College, Dr. Larson held positions as a neuropsychologist at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, serving as a supervisor, mentor and teacher for staff and students, and as an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Chicago for four years.

Dr. Ayse Kula was also appointed assistant professor of anesthesiology at The Medical College of Wisconsin. She is also a member of the medical staffs of Froedtert Hospital, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.

Dr. Ronald Fickel will assume the position of chief medical informatics officer at ProHealth Care, Waukesha. He will also continue to treat patients as a family medicine specialist at ProHealth Care Medical Associates clinic in Hartland.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Mark Fuerst has been named assistant food and beverage director at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, Milwaukee. Fuerst has 35 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and has been with the casino since 2000. He has held a number of positions in the casino’s food and beverage department, and most recently served as beverage operations manager. Mark Liner has been named poker room manager at Potawatomi. In this position, Liner will oversee the 20-table poker room and ensure that all aspects of operation are compliant with controls set forth by local and state regulatory bodies. He has been with the casino since 2004.

The Marcus Corp., Milwaukee, has hired Peter Engel as chief technology officer for its Marcus Hotels and Resorts division; Kim Lueck as chief information technology officer for its Marcus Theatres division; and Michael Kohler as senior counsel for The Marcus Corp.

Industrial

Actuant Corp., Butler, has named Sheri Grissom as vice president of human resources. She comes to Actuant from Johnson Controls where she served as vice president of human resources for the service, energy solution and global workplace solutions business within the company’s building efficiency segment.

Insurance

Barb Esser has joined The Rauser Agency Inc. as director of strategic planning and marketing. She previously worked for several years with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield.

Legal Services

The law firm of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C., Milwaukee, has added Bret Harper, Douglas Marsch and A. John Richter as attorneys in its firm. Harper is a member of the firm’s business Reorganization practice, Marsch joined the labor and employment practice and Richter is the newest lateral attorney in the health care practice.

Tim Trecek, an attorney with the Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. office in Milwaukee, has been invited to be inducted as a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, a prestigious society that seeks to honor top tier trial attorneys throughout the world. Currently, the society is comprised of 650 attorneys, the majority being from the United States with 40 members from Canada, and 12 from other countries.

Cross Law Firm, S.C., Milwaukee, has hired Jennifer Samborski, a former CPA, as an associate attorney in the firm’s small business and litigation divisions.

John Vitek has joined the Milwaukee office of Mallery & Zimmerman, S.C. as a shareholder. Vitek practices with the office’s tax, real estate and corporate/business/health care groups.

Management services

Chicago-based Securitas Security Services USA Inc. has hired Jerry Herzog as area vice president of southern Wisconsin. Herzog will provide strategic direction and leadership to the southern Wisconsin area, facilitating client retention, service expansion and the delivery of quality security services. Herzog joined Securitas Security Services USA in 2007 as a business development manager. Prior to that, he worked as a sales manager at Norlight Telecommunications.

Manufacturing

Richfield-based DCI Cheese Company recently added seven new employees to its staff. They include: Monica Giacone, merchandiser; Ashley Hertel, production supervisor; Jim Hintz, helpdesk coordinator; Pat Lennon, plant engineer; Alaina Muche, assistant account coordinator and merchandiser; Donna Otto, customer service representative and Brittany Rautenberg, marketing coordinator. Kim Dyer was promoted to product development coordinator and both Doug Koch and Brett La Ronge were given role expansions.

Media

Cannella Response Television, Burlington, has added Jill Seidman Paredes as broadcast long-form media buyer. Paredes was previously with Euro RSCG Edge in Carlsbad, Calif., where she was a senior media buyer responsible for negotiating and buying national media.

Nonprofit

The Wisconsin chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation recently announced that Danelle O’Neill has joined the foundation as the new executive director. O’Neill has been active in the non-profit community for the past 20 years.

Professional Athletics

The Milwaukee Wave has added Dennis Brown and Mike Sampson to its front office staff as account executives. Brown will be responsible for developing corporate group ticket sales relationships and Sampson will be responsible for business-to-business and group ticket sales. He will also be helping Wisconsin youth soccer clubs fund-raise with the help of the Wave.

Senior Living Communities

Sarah Chudnow Campus, Mequon, has appointed Kerri Livermore as its new director of nursing services. Livermore previously worked for Extendicare, where she was the director of nursing for three years.

Staffing & Recruiting

Patina Solutions, Brookfield, has hired Mark Leopold as practice director of sales and marketing. Leopold has more than 25 years of experience in domestic and international sales and marketing, new product development, acquisitions, divestitures, turnarounds and strategic planning.

Technology

Tushaus Computer Services, Milwaukee, has added Dean Hansen as director of human resources for the company. He has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and was formerly the executive vice president of administration and corporate treasure for NOVO 1, an outsourcing service and product provider based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Milwaukee-based ARI has hired Cheryl Pabich as its new director of marketing. Pabich is responsible for setting marketing budgets and strategic direction as well as developing marketing communications and branding initiatives for ARI.

Joe Dalum, president and chief executive officer of Odyne Systems, LLC, Waukesha, has been named to the board of directors for the Green Truck Association. Established in 2010, the GTA is an affiliate division of the National Truck Equipment Association. It was developed in response to a growing interest and demand for more green products and information in the work truck industry.

RF Technologies, Brookfield, has named Mark Harwood as company president. Harwood is a former vice president of Baxter International Inc. and former president and CEO of Arjo Inc.
