Clifton Gunderson, LLP, Wauwatosa, recently named Mark Williams, managing partner of its Wisconsin practice and Keith Rode as partner-in-charge of its Racine office. Williams has been with Clifton Gunderson since 2004 and most recently served as partner-in-charge of its Wauwatosa and Madison offices. He has more than 35 years of professional experience.

7Summits, Milwaukee, has added Carolyn Fraser as a new media specialist. She has more than two years of experience in marketing management at ACME Production Resources including social media planning and execution.

Tim Cascio has joined Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, as a senior digital strategist. He has more than 20 years of marketing experience. Cascio most recently served as a co-owner, managing partner, marketing strategist and business developer at GS Marketing Group Inc.

Wells Fargo & Company has hired Robert Valcq as a relationship manager in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Valcq previously served as a vice president for Wells Fargo Business Banking and has 13 years of financial services experience.

M&I Bank recently recognized Mark Christman, vice president and mortgage loan originator, as a 2009 Top Mortgage Sales Performer. He has been with M&I since 1984 and currently works out of the Kilbourn Avenue branch.

Education

Frederick Berry has been appointed the vice president of academics at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Berry comes to MSOE from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind., where he most recently served as head of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. He succeeds Dr. Roger Frankowski, who is retiring after 42 years of service to the university.

Government Organizations

The Village of Sussex has hired Amy Jeske, as the village’s director of recreation services. Jeske was the recreation director for the Village of Elm Grove, where she worked for the previous six years.

Health Care

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, has promoted Kathryn Kuhn to vice president of government and community affairs. Kuhn has directed the Medical College’s government affairs program since 2001 and was appointed associate vice president of government affairs in 2007. Thomas Brophy, director of community relations, will retire from the Medical College at the end of June.

Community Memorial Hospital recently added four doctors to its local medical staff they include: Dr. Lortiz Chavez, internal medicine/hospitalist; Dr. Sandra Green, internal medicine; Dr. Arnold Lim, rheumatology; and Dr. Sandeep Markan, eICU telemedicine.

Insurance

Diversified Insurance Services, Brookfield, has appointed Daniel Gahlman as director of risk management services. Gahlman has more than 12 years of experience in risk, safety, quality assurance, loss control and risk engineering consulting services. He most recently was a senior risk engineer consultant with Zurich Services Corp.

Darrin Englebert of Northwestern Mutual – The Schwertfeger Group has received the Pacesetter 100 Award for outstanding sales achievement in client service. Englebert has been with Northwestern Mutual for a year.

Chris Fugman, of Northwestern Mutual – The Schwertfeger Group has also received the Bronze Award for outstanding sales achievement and client service. Fugman was ranked number one First Year Representative in all of the Central Region for 2009.

Sheboygan-based Acuity recently promoted Sue DePagter to commercial lines processing consultant and Crystal Goessl to business analyst on the Finance/Administrative team.

Legal Services

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. has added two attorneys to its Milwaukee office. Lydia Chartre concentrates her practice in the areas of condominium law, collections, creditor-side bankruptcy, business law, commercial litigation and appellate law. Tom Ewing returns to the firm after serving as general counsel for a privately owned company and as a division general counsel for a Fortune 100 company. He will focus his practice in litigation and business counseling.

Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C. has added James Morrow, intellectual property attorney, to its Milwaukee office. He has nearly 25 years of experience, and his practice includes IP infringement risk assessment and evaluation, IP litigation, IP agreement negotiation and intellectual capital protection counseling.

Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., Milwaukee, has announced that shareholder William Duffin, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, has been elected president of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association. Duffin previously served as first vice president and second vice president for the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.

Manufacturing

True Botanica, Delafield, has added Philia Rentea, as associate vice president of operations. In this position, she will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff management, and marketing for the company. She previously worked as a management engineer for University of North Carolina Healthcare in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Bradley Corp., Menomonee Falls, recently added Richard Dykowski as director of engineering for the company. Dykowski draws from over 20 years of engineering experience within the manufacturing industry to lead all aspects of Bradley’s product and project design and development.

MGS Mfg. Group, Germantown, recently added Brad Bollech to its program management team. Bollech previously worked for Tech Mold in Tempe, Ariz., and has more than 14 years of experience working in the injection mold profession.

Nonprofit

The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation added Karen Pacioni as donor relations assistant for external relations. Pacioni has more than 17 years of experience as an employee relations supervisor for United Parcel Service of America, Inc., specializing in employee development and community outreach.

Jewish Family Services, Milwaukee, has appointed Jessica Horning, CPA, who has been with JFS since 2006, as their new chief financial officer. Horning, will be responsible for the entire range of financial activity within the organization including formulating and recommending policies on banking, fiscal and accounting matters and development of standard accounting, analysis and reporting procedures. Prior to working for JFS, Horning was an auditor at Virchow, Krause & Company LLP, and an accountant at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Inc. and YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Inc.

Professional Services

Patient Care, Milwaukee, recently added Vijay Thacker to its senior management team as vice president of advocacy. He will be responsible for the operation of the company’s base of business – providing advocacy to over 1 million members across the country. In addition, Kevin Lindbergh was promoted from director of consumerism to vice president of consumerism and Emily Penner was promoted from director of marketing and communications to vice president of marketing and communications.

Real Estate

Real estate agents, Paolo Iazzi and Brian Kraus and Nina Kraus recently joined the North Shore office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
