The Ritterbusch Group, Brookfield, recently hired Julie Gaier as an account executive. Gaier is a former Emmy-award winning television news reporter who worked in various parts of the Midwest.

Celtic Inc., Brookfield, has added Anthony Biondi as interactive director. Biondi began his career in the IT industry before starting his own interactive firm. He previously consulted with Celtic for more than three years.

Banking & Finance

Wendy Rice has been named branch manager of WaterStone Bank’s Oak Creek branch. She has been employed by WaterStone since 1997 and held the position of branch manager for the Waukesha branch since 2004.

Green Bay-based Associated Banc-Corp recently added five new leaders in the Milwaukee area. They include: Jason Bennett, senior vice president, director of integrated financial projects; Kathy Branton, assistant vice president, business banker; Matthew Meyer, vice president, business resumption manager; Anthony Reading-Brown, vice president, associate counsel; and Scott Seamans, vice president, portfolio risk manager.

Moore Construction Services LLC, Menomonee Falls, has hired Dan Bay as project manager/estimator. He will manage all aspects of construction projects including estimating and project management. Bay has 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

Health Care

Madison Medical Affiliates, Milwaukee, has added Dr. Kristin Schroederus, to its Allergy & Immunology department, a subspecialty of Internal Medicine. Schroederus will be the first Madison Medical Affiliates Allergist specializing in pediatric care and will practice at the Seton Professional Building office in Mequon at 13133 N. Port Washington Road.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, have named Dr. Timothy Schum, medical director of the Downtown Health Center. In his new role, Dr. Schum will provide medical leadership for the center, 1020 N. 12th St., Milwaukee.

Eric Ford, director of medical practice operations for Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group – All Saints in Racine, has received the Young Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award for the state of Wisconsin. The award, given by the American College of Healthcare Executives, recognizes leaders who have significantly contributed to the advancement of health care management excellence. Ford has been with Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare since 2004 and has served as director of Medical Practice Operations for All Saints since 2010. He oversees the day-to-day operations of more than 60 hospital-based specialty and primary care practices.

The National Academy of Sciences has elected Dr. Stephen Hargarten, chairman and professor of the department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin to the National Academy’s Institute of Medicine. Hargarten is one of 65 physicians or scientists from the United States to be elected. Election to the IOM is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service.

Several new physicians are now seeing patients at Community Memorial Medical Commons, a multi-specialty clinic of Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital and Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin. Community Memorial Medical Commons is located at W129 N7055 Northfield Dr., Menomonee Falls. The new physicians include: Dr. Jeffrey Bejma, Medical College of Wisconsin urologist; Dr. Charles Reuben, Medical College of Wisconsin cardiothoracic surgeon; and Dr. Brian Law, Medical College of Wisconsin orthopaedic surgeon. The clinic offers more than 20 medical specialties in addition to primary care and walk-in services.

Legal Services

Godfrey & Kahn S.C., Milwaukee, recently announced that Best Lawyers has named Howard Pollack as the “Milwaukee Bet-the-Company Litigation Lawyer of the Year” for 2012. Pollack has been a shareholder at Godfrey & Kahn since 1992. Also, Randall Erickson, has joined the firm’s Securities Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Erickson was the senior vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. (M&I) prior to M&I’s acquisition by the Bank of Montreal earlier this year.

Foley & Lardner LLP, Milwaukee, announced that 14 of its attorneys have been named Best Lawyers’ 2012 Lawyers of the Year in their respective communities and areas of practice. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the Lawyer of the Year. The Foley attorneys named as Best Lawyers’ 2012 Lawyers of the Year in Milwaukee included: Linda Benfield, natural resources law; Ralf-Reinhard Boer, international trade and finance law; Jon Christiansen, franchise law; Richard Gallagher, nonprofit charities law; Emory Ireland, financial services regulation law; and Thomas Shriner, Jr., litigation, banking and finance.

Quarles & Brady LLP, announced that Julianna Ebert, a senior partner in the Public Finance Group of the firm’s Milwaukee office, was selected to receive the Frederick O. Kiel Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Bond Lawyers Board of Directors. The award is given in recognition of the extraordinary service its recipients have provided to NABL over an extended period of time.

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP has added Danielle Bergner to the firm as an associate in its Milwaukee office. Bergner will join the firm’s Transactional Practice Group, focusing her practice on real estate, municipal law and finance.

Management Services

C.H. Coakley & Co. Inc., Milwaukee, has hired Susan Harte as an account executive in the company’s archives division. Harte has more than 22 years of sales and marketing experience in the fields of manufacturing, laboratory, technical, foundation, service membership and medical. Most recently she worked for the Wisconsin Medical Society in Madison.

Manufacturing

Paul Whitaker has been named consumer products divisional leader for St Francis-based Wixon Inc., a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors, ingredients, and consumer products for the food and beverage industry. Whitaker has more than 25 years of experience in the food industry with several leading consumer packaged goods manufacturers. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales for Imperial Sugar Company in Texas.

Media

Cannella Response Television, Burlington, has hired Michael Gart as chief financial officer. He replaces Guy Theune, who will retire at the end of the year. Gart joins Cannella from Tribune Media Services, where he served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance since 2004. Gart held several positions with multiple responsibilities during his time at Tribune Company, including oversight of strategic and operational planning for 15 product groups, M&A due diligence, on-boarding of new companies and managing accounts payable, payroll and purchasing functions.

Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently added new agents in its Milwaukee-area offices. They include: Holly Finnigan, Mequon office; Jennifer Richter, Cedarburg office; Julio Cifuentes, Lisa Nevinski and Tina Weissgerber, Metro West office in Brookfield; and Jason Stong was added to the downtown office.

Simon Property Group Inc. announced that Mary Mokwa has been named manager of Southridge Mall in Greendale. As mall manager, Mokwa will manage all day-to-day operations, maintenance and tenant relations. Additionally, she will be responsible for the security and marketing of the center. Mokwa served as assistant general manager of the property in 1991.

Retail

Buyseasons Inc., New Berlin, recently hired Melissa Baldwin as advertising manager.

Technology

Shannon Fox has been named recruiter for Milwaukee-based Corporate Technology Solutions. Fox has over seven years of experience working in human resources functions including full life cycle recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS system maintenance and reporting. She has also held positions in marketing and office management.

Brookfield-based Fiserv Inc., hired Rahul Gupta as group president of its Digital Payment Solutions group. Gupta has more than 25 years of experience serving the financial services and payments industries. He joined Fiserv in 2006 and most recently served as president of the Card Services Division, where he was responsible for the debit, credit and prepaid solutions for Fiserv.
