Reilly, Penner & Benton, Milwaukee, has added Eric Weninger and Matt Haugen as new employees to its firm. Weninger previously worked as an intern at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Haugen recently graduated from UW-Whitewater.

Core Creative Inc., Milwaukee, promoted Beth Crivello-Wagner to director of marketing communications and Angi Krueger to director of marketing and business development. Combined, Crivello-Wagner and Krueger have more than 25 years of experience in advertising, public relations, and marketing and communications.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, recently promoted Brian Aufdermauer to team leader in the firm’s project management group; Colleen Grams to group leader in the public relations department; and Gail Wentz and Kristen Zbichorski to the position of team leader in the account management department.

Chris Gawart, attorney, has joined the law department of Milwaukee-based Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. Gawart, an assistant general counsel and assistant secretary on the corporate team will work primarily on product tax matters in addition to industry related advocacy. Gawart previously served as a partner at Quarles & Brady LLP in Milwaukee.

Biotechnology

Cambridge Major Laboratories, Germantown, has added Richard Proehl as its vice president of manufacturing. Prior to joining CML, Proehl served as the St. Louis site director for Covidien, a global health care products company, where he was responsible for the company’s largest API plant of about 900 employees.

Creative Business Interiors Inc., West Allis, has added Koreen Pelot as an account executive in its creative team.

Engineering

K. Singh and Associates Inc., Elm Grove, has added Mac Malas as its new transportation practice leader. Malas has worked on transportation projects for the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County for 25 years.

Health Care

Lynda Gruenewald-Schmitz has been named vice president of clinical innovation for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. She is the founder, past president, and board member of Kyle’s Korner Inc., Milwaukee’s first free-standing grief center dedicated to grieving families, and most recently served as director of clinical services for Odyssey Hospice Healthcare of Milwaukee.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based Marcus Corp., has promoted Keith Halfmann to vice president of operations. He previously served as corporate director of restaurants and operations. Halfmann has been with Marcus Hotels & Resorts for 12 years.

Insurance

Sheboygan-based Acuity has promoted Michael Falk to team manager of its network and security department. Falk joined Acuity’s staff in 2002 as a systems engineer. He was named security administrator in 2004. Prior to Acuity, he worked as network administrator at Lakeland College.

Legal Services

Foley & Lardner LLP has named Linda Benfield managing partner of the firm’s Milwaukee office. Benfield succeeds Nancy Sennett, who will continue her litigation practice with Foley in Milwaukee. Benfield has been with the firm for 22 years.

The Milwaukee Bar Association has recognized several members of Milwaukee’s legal community for its annual awards. Nathan Fishback, shareholder at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Joseph Kearney, dean of Marquette University Law School, has received the lawyer of the year award; Richard Gallagher, partner at Foley & Lardner, has received the distinguished service award; and honorable Jeffrey Kremers, chief judge of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, has received the E. Michael McCann distinguished public service award.

Manufacturing

Dickten Masch Plastics, Nashotah, has promoted Carl Lider to vice president of operations and Doreen Lettau to vice president of market and business development.

Professional Athletics

The Milwaukee Brewers have named Nick Watson as the club’s new vice president of information technology. Watson joins the Brewers from Medtronic Inc. after serving 15 years in a number of capacities with the company, including information technology and customer service.

Tempo Milwaukee recently elected new members to its executive committee and board of directors. New board members include: Katie Clark, finance and marketing director of Boy Scouts of America; Heather Fields, attorney at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren; Rose Spano Iannelli, partner at Spano Pratt Executive Search; Amy Jensen, managing director of the Skylight Opera Theater; Linda Mertz, managing director of Mertz Associates and Louise Perrin, senior vice president at State Farm Insurance. Amy Rislov, vice president of Human Resources for Aurora Health Care was elected president of Tempo Milwaukee; Kimberly Kane, director of client solutions with The Novo Group will serve as the immediate past president; Jennifer Bartolotta, director of strategic partnerships at Bartolotta Restaurants is the president-elect; Susie Falk, president of The Falk Group Public Relations will serve as vice president of communications; Amelia Macareno, vice president and private banker at Wells Fargo Bank N.A. was elected treasurer; Linda Newberry-Ferguson will serve as vice president of membership and Peggy Williams-Smith of Marcus Hotels and Resorts will serve as vice president of programs.

Technology

CC&N, Pewaukee, has added Theodore Jaekels as its new business development executive. Jaekels has more than 20 years of sales and management experience and was most recently with CableCom LLC in Milwaukee.
