Brookfield-based Vrakas/Blum S.C. promoted Michael Scott and Rebecca Foat to managers in the firm’s audit department.

Tricia Knight, partner and member of Milwaukee-based RitzHolman CPAs, has been appointed to the board of directors at St. Joan Antida High School in Milwaukee.

Charleston|Orwig, Hartland, has named Amanda Powell and Kirsten Voinis, as account supervisors in its reputation management team. Angie Nikolas also joins the team as an account executive, and Patricia Bloom joined the reputation management team as an assistant account executive.

The Wisconsin Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute has named Michael Zimmerman, a senior vice president of investor relations at Milwaukee-based MGIC Investment Corp., president of the chapter for 2012-13. Zimmerman will also serve on the Wisconsin Chapter NIRI Board of Directors. Other directors include Marilyn Vollrath, president and CEO of Vollrath Associates Inc., Milwaukee, and Joan Zimmer, investor relations manager at Badger Meter Inc., Brown Deer.

Green Bay-based Associated Bank Corp. has hired five new executives in the Milwaukee area. Tim Wnuk has joined Associated Bank as senior vice president, account executive director. Jill Grob has been hired as senior vice president, regulatory compliance audit director. William “Beau” Stubbs III joins as vice president, enhanced due diligence manager. The three will be located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee. Scott Hanson has been hired as vice president, property and casualty insurance sales manager. His office is located at N16 W23250 Stone Ridge Driver, Ste. 5, in Waukesha. Anthony Ferro has been named vice president, construction project manager in the bank’s Hales Corners office at Highway 100 and Forest Home Avenue.

Milwaukee Downtown Business Improvement District has named Leah Thomas its first marketing and events coordinator. Primary responsibilities of the new position include coordination and implementation of special events, as well as assistance with fundraising and sponsorship fulfillment.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling, Milwaukee, has hired Traci Arganbright as the company’s business relations specialist. From 2007-10, Arganbright worked as Paul Davis’ statewide marketing representative in Wisconsin. Most recently, she founded Jartaa Catering Services in Neenah. Arganbright has also been a Realtor at Century 21 in Appleton and a real estate representative in advertising sales in Oshkosh.

Crispell-Snyder Inc., Lake Geneva, recently hired Dean Filtz and Danny Strayer as transportation engineers and Jennifer O’Leary as a senior urban and landscape designer.

Milwaukee-based Market Probe has named Jill Rogers vice president of its agriculture and animal health practice. Rogers has 15 years of experience in the marketing research field.

Robert Buckla, an institutional advancement executive with more than 25 years of education experience, has been named vice president of university advancement at Cardinal Stritch University in Fox Point. Since 2009, Buckla had been the senior director of college programs/major and leadership gifts at Illinois Institute of Technology, where he was part of a leadership team that raised more than $104 million in operating, capital and endowment support as part of a $250 million campaign.

Gene Gilchrist has been named executive director of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Wauwatosa. He has more than 30 years experience in academic institutions with finance, government relations and health care management roles.

Dr. Travis Fisher has been named the new medical director for the Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital Mental Health Center in Menomonee Falls. Fisher is a board-certified psychiatrist with sub-specialty training in psychosomatic medicine, which focuses on providing psychiatric care in non-psychiatric settings and to medically complex patients.

Kristina McHenry has joined Burkwald & Associates, Pewaukee, as a client relations manager. McHenry has more than 25 years of experience in health insurance, benefits and consulting.

Gen Mervyn has been promoted to services manager – imaging at Sheboygan-based Acuity. She began working at Acuity in March 2006. Prior to that, Mervyn was a substitute teacher in the Sheboygan Area School District.

The Milwaukee Bar Association Foundation has appointed attorney Maria Kreiter to its board of directors. Kreiter is a member of the litigation practice group at Godfrey & Kahn’s Milwaukee office.

Davis & Kuelthau, S.C. announced that former Circuit Court Judge Nelson Phillips III has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as part of the litigation group. Phillips was appointed by Gov. Scott Walker to serve as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge for Branch 17 in October 2011. Phillips’ experience also includes working as a senior litigation associate with Godfrey & Kahn S.C. in Milwaukee where he handled contract, commercial, labor and employment and general legal disputes.

Provade Inc., Milwaukee, has hired Mary Martin as a product consultant, Kim Ross as a strategic account manager and Freddy Vaca as senior vice president of sales and strategy.

Stillwaters Cancer Support Services, Waukesha, has named Amy Johnson to its counseling team. Johnson is a Masters-level Social Worker (MSW) who has worked with at-risk populations such as the elderly, mentally ill and physically and mentally disabled. A cancer survivor herself, Amy welcomes the opportunity to work with individuals, couples and families who have been affected by cancer.

Waukesha-based Second Chance Partners for Education has promoted Stephanie Borowski to be the organization’s president. The Second Chance Program provides an integrated learning experience by immersing high school students in business settings.

Brookfield-based Pinstripe Inc., has added several new employees on the heels of its acquisition by California-based private equity firm Accel-KKR. They include: Tamara Rashid, vice president of solution design; Sally Stacy, vice president; Janessa Huber, service experience director; Jennie Dede, Erika Stearns, Lauren Trollope, and Deb Valentine have been named client service directors; and Christine Bonk and Taura Prosek have been named client service managers.
