Schenck S.C. has hired Tyler Carlson as an M&A analyst in its Milwaukee office. Carlson has more than five years of experience in project management, engineering and leadership. In his new position, he will concentrate on financial analysis, due diligence and marketing for clients looking into M&A opportunities.


Advertising & Public Relations

Core Creative Inc., based in Milwaukee, has promoted Jeff Speech and Rich Vetrano to vice president. Speech and Vetrano are two of the company’s three owning partners. Speech previously worked as director of creative services, and Vetrano was director of print and digital services.

Trefoil Group, based in Milwaukee, has added Justin Smith as an account executive. Smith has more than eight years of professional writing experience in public relations, journalism, integrated marketing and brand building. In his new role, he will contribute to marketing initiatives through written communication across a number of media.

Banking & Finance

Amy Rydeski has joined Foundations Bank in Pewaukee as vice president, controller. In her new role, Rydeski will manage the bank’s accounting functions along with financial and regulatory reporting. She will also sit on the Asset & Liability Management Committee and help organize the bank’s financial plans and budgets.

Mitch Grulke has rejoined Waukesha State Bank’s East Racine Avenue location in Waukesha where he will serve as bank manager. Grulke has worked for Waukesha State Bank since 2009. He most recently was bank manager at the Brookfield office. As bank manager in Waukesha, Grulke will oversee daily operations, such as business development, personnel, customer service, lending, relationship development and community service.

Building & Construction

Milwaukee-based Paul Davis National has hired Byron Sherrod to lead its construction consulting division. Sherrod, who has more than 40 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing and building, will manage development and growth of construction in residential, commercial and industrial markets. He will also work with his team to handle property investigations as well as analyze and report both interior and exterior building problems created by catastrophic incidences.

Chambers of Commerce

The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) has appointed Craig Kammholz chief financial officer. Kammholz previously worked as budget director for the Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services and as special duty controller for the City of Milwaukee. In his new role, he will handle the MMAC’s finances, budgeting, investments and administration processes. He will also assist with strategic planning for the MMAC and review public policy, economic development and business community issues.

The Waukesha County Business Alliance recently appointed Amanda Payne director of public relations and marketing. Payne will manage the alliance’s public relations, media relations, social media, marketing communications, and event and program promotions. The organization also recently added Lane Shebesta as membership sales associate and promoted Robyn Ludtke to events and programs coordinator.

Consulting

EmPowerHR has added Katie Pallen as a payroll specialist in its Milwaukee office. Pallen has more than seven years of experience in payroll.

MPI, Grafton, has named M. Henry Mahoney marketing communications manager. At MPI, Mahoney will oversee strategic projects, assist in creating new channels and help expand markets. He will also lead the design and development of new products and devote attention to the company’s retail website.

Education

Kevin Fletcher, senior vice president of customer operations at Wisconsin Energy Corp., has been added to the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Board of Regents. Fletcher has worked for Wisconsin Energy since 2011.

John Pellmann, a partner at Brookfield-based Pellmann, Drellos & Associates, has been hired as a lecturer in the economics department at Marquette University where he will help teach “Economics and the Law.” Pellmann has been practicing law for almost 20 years and co-founded Pellmann, Drellos & Associates in 2010. The firm specializes in personalized legal counsel applied to business law, real estate, estate planning and probate, general civil litigation, and arbitration and mediation.

Engineering

R.A. Smith National, Brookfield, has added Brandon Foss as a water and wastewater senior project manager in the company’s municipal division. Foss has more than 23 years of experience in engineering design and construction. His previous experience involves planning, design and construction of wastewater pumping and treatment systems as well as water town design, coating, antenna review and inspection.

Government Organizations

Susan Dreyfus, president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based Alliance for Children and Families, has been added to the National Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities. Dreyfus, who previously served as administrator of the Wisconsin Division of Children and Family Services for Gov. Tommy Thompson, will work with 11 other appointees on the commission to determine a strategy that can curb child abuse and neglect fatalities across the country.

Health Care

Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, has appointed Cindy Moon-Mogush senior vice president of communications. Moon-Mogush has been with Aurora Health Care since 2009 and has career experience overseeing integrated marketing, branding, product management and marketing analytics teams. As senior vice president of communications, she will lead brand management, marketing efforts and employee communications.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Judi Murphy, senior vice president and co-founder of Murphy Associates, was recently re-elected to the board of directors of the Brookfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Brookfield). Murphy assists with public relations for Visit Brookfield and also sits on Visit Brookfield’s board of directors as a representative of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.

Insurance

Assurant Health, Milwaukee, promoted Charles Steele to senior vice president-executive sales officer. Steele, who previously served as vice president-sales, will focus on expanding and improving Assurant Health’s distribution capabilities to help increase sales. Steele has been with the company since 2005.

Legal Services

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. has welcomed Anthony Anzelmo to its Litigation Practice Group and David Eckhardt to its Human Resources Law Practice Group. The legal firm also recently hired Thomas Vance, who specializes in federal, state and local tax issues, and Michael Dahm, who serves on the Corporate Transactions, Emerging and Entrepreneurial Companies, and Securities teams. All four attorneys will work out of the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Manufacturing

Wixon, St. Francis, hired Dan Seagren as a programmer and analyst. Seagren previously worked for Kohl’s Department Stores as a technology analyst. At Wixon, he will focus on software development life cycles, the design and incorporation of database schemas, project management and development of design specifications.

Faustel, Germantown, has welcomed Rick Ruenzel as a sales engineer. Ruenzel has more than 30 years of experience in paper, nonwoven and film converting. At Faustel, he will help expand the company’s client base of national and international accounts and will assist with the company’s focus on offering converting solutions.

Nonprofit

Meta House, located in Milwaukee, has added Angela Rivera to its team as a behavioral health diagnostician for children and families. Rivera has more than 14 years of experience in fieldwork, training and collaboration with area community partners.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has added real estate agent Denise Zank to its Cedarburg office.

Staffing

Talent Network Group, Brookfield, has hired Lindsey Haug as an executive recruiter. Haug previously worked as an admissions representative for Bryant and Stratton College. In her new role, she will be responsible for cultivating personal relationships with company candidates to better gauge their skills, desires and career needs before connecting them with employers.
