Mortenson Construction, Brookfield recently announced the additions of Kelvin Grabau and Mark Orth as senior superintendents and Darold Lundberg as an assistant superintendent.

The American Bus Association recently certified Eileen Arnold, director of group sales at the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau, as a travel industry specialist. Arnold passed five correspondence courses and attended eight industry advancement seminars presented at the American Bus Marketplace to attain certification.

Eileen Schwalbach, Ph.D., was recently named president of Mount Mary College, Milwaukee. Schwalbach has been the college’s acting president since September 2008, when Dr. Linda Timm resigned from the position.

The YWCA of Greater Milwaukee recently welcomed two new employees, Gerry Bournelis, chief fund development officer and Erin Gannon, communications and marketing manager, to their Fund Development department. Chris Her-Xiong, executive director and principal of the Hmong American Peace Academy, Ltd., Sara Junio, vice president of risk management and strategic planning director for US Bank, Sarah Martinez, manager of diversity and cultural competence at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Corporate Services, Kimberley Noon, chief operating officer for Guardian HealthStaff, LLC, and Ursula Twombly, principal for Continuum Architects + Planners were also added to the organization’s board of directors.

Aurora Advanced Healthcare recently announced that Dr. KumKum Chattopadhayay has joined the Internal Medicine physician staff at the 3289 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa. 

Dr. David Smith, medical director for care management at Aurora Health Care, was recently elected a fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine, a national professional society for physicians committed to disease prevention and health promotion.

ProHealth Care Medical Associates recently welcomed board-certified internal medicine specialist Dr. Dan Cleary to its staff at its Oconomowoc location on Corporate Center Drive.

Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan, recently promoted Peter Zellmer to general manager. He has nearly 20 years of hotel industry experience and was previously the director of sales and marketing for the resort.

Traci Skolaski recently joined Integrated Risk Solutions, Pewaukee, as its new client claim advocate.

Shari Dunn recently joined Mike Strehlow as co-anchor of the Morning News Express on CBS 58. Dunn comes to Milwaukee from KETK in Tyler, Texas, where she most recently served as the main anchor for the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts. 

Professional Organizations

The Milwaukee Press Club recently announced that sports commentator and author Frank DeFord will be the Club’s 2009 Sacred Cat Award honoree. The award, which has been given annually since 1973, recognizes excellence in journalism at the national level.

The Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association of Wisconsin recently elected Daniel Callies of Oak Creek Plumbing, Oak Creek as vice president. Jefferey Kuhn, of S & K Pump & Plumbing, Brookfield will serve as past president.
