Wausau-based Wipfli LLP, recently announced Robert Kaczmarek has joined the firm’s Wauwatosa office as the leader of the firm’s construction cost segregation practice. He has over 27 years experience in appraisals and valuations.

Zizzo Group Advertising and Public Relations, Milwaukee, recently added Jamie Szwiec to its public relations team.

Pewaukee-based Z2 Marketing recently announced the addition of two employees.  Kerry Tasch joins Z2 as a graphic designer, Christina Nelson joins Z2 as a public relations account coordinator, as well as a copywriter.

Dan Nelson Jr., president of Nelson Schmidt, Milwaukee, was recently re-elected to the board of directors of the Marketing and Advertising Global Network.

Harris Marketing Group, Wales, recently announced the addition of two professionals to its staff: Suzy Pitzo, new business development account executive and Susan Achtenhagen, writer/communications public relations.

Architecture

Mark Zimmerman, vice president and business development director for Zimmerman Architectural Studios in Milwaukee recently received Nativity Jesuit Middle School’s 2008 Mentor of the Year Award at the Annual Scholarship Dinner. The award recognized Zimmerman’s volunteer time and commitment in helping Latino youth complete their high school education and gain entrance into college after leaving Nativity Jesuit Middle School.

The Milwaukee office of Kahler Slater recently made two additions. They include Glenn Roby, associate principal and project leader for the firm’s Business Environment’s Team, and Anthony LaPorte, team leader for the graphics team.

Banking & Finance

First Business Bank, Milwaukee, recently announced that Jamie Thiede has been hired as credit administrative associate. She has 11 years of banking experience.

Paula Hogan, founder of Hogan Financial Management, LLC, Milwaukee, was recently named to the Financial Planning Associates (FPA) Board of Directors, beginning a three year term in January 2009.

Building & Construction

Tom Calouette, was recently promoted to vice president of construction at Berghammer Construction Corp., Butler. 

Greg Schroeder has joined Mortenson Construction, Brookfield, as a project manager. Prior to joining the Wisconsin team, Schroeder worked for Mortenson’s Denver operating group. 

Child Care Services

Ebenezer Child Care Centers, Milwaukee, recently named Nicole Palmer its new marketing and project coordinator. Palmer previously served as a sales representative for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, recently named Steven Witt director of the graduate reading program and assistant professor Steve Gerner director of student teaching in the undergraduate program as well as an assistant professor. Aimee Brown was named coordinator for graduate education programs.

Health Care

Dr. Erik Johnston Uland, and Dr. Azhar Yunus, recently joined Rogers Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, as psychiatrists. Both Yunus and Uland work directly with children and adolescents in treatment, and continue working with patients as they transition through the levels of care offered at the hospital.

Angela Stanley was recently appointed assistant professor of pediatrics in the division of adolescent medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. She has also been appointed to the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, and will see patients in its adolescent health and medicine program. Karunakaran Chandran has also been appointed assistant professor of biophysics at MCW. 

Health Payment Systems, Milwaukee recently announced the addition of three new staff members. They include: John Jackson, vice president of sales, Margaret Dallmann, sales executive, and Sue Sanders, sales and marketing coordinator. 

Hospitality & Entertainment

Jean Kolb, director of Wellness Business & Product Development at Kohler Co., Kohler, was recently elected to the office of chairman of the International SPA Association board of directors. Kolb has been with Kohler for more then 29 years.

Insurance

R&R Insurance Services, Inc., Waukesha, recently announced that Stephanie Riesch-Knapp has joined their commercial sales team and Barkha Limbu has joined their creative marketing team, as a creative marketing specialist.  

Legal Service

Twenty lawyers from Godfrey & Kahn, S.C.’s Milwaukee office have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2009. The Milwaukee office of Quarles & Brady LLP recently announced that Kevin Long was named the national chair of the commercial litigation practice. Long, a partner with the Firm, will oversee Quarles & Brady’s 100 plus commercial litigation attorneys across six offices.         

Manufacturing

Engineered Products and Services, Inc., Franksville, recently promoted Chris Malone to the newly created position of director of new product development. Gregg Liederbach was recently hired as director of North American sales and marketing, and Steve Gifford was added as sales application engineer.

Christopher Barnard, president and chief executive officer of Wacker Neuson Corp., Menomonee Falls, was recently named to the board of directors of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the North American-based international trade group for companies that manufacture equipment, products and services used worldwide in the agricultural, construction, forestry, mining and utility fields.

Sean Jacobs was recently named the new product manager for InPro Decorative Surfaces, Muskego. He brings more then 15 years of experience in the surface fabrication industry.

Publishing

Kalmbach Publishing Co., Waukesha, recently hired Jennifer Jones as its credit manager. Jones comes from Adaptive Micro Systems, Milwaukee, where she managed the company’s accounts receivable department.

Technology

Vital Technology Group, Milwaukee, recently promoted Michael Spanjar to director of sales and marketing. Spanjar previously served as a sales executive for the company and has worked in various marketing positions over the past 22 years.

Comstar, Waukesha, recently announced that David Forer has recently joined the Comstar team as a manager of corporate accounts. He brings 18 years of sales experience to Comstar.

Training & Development

Sales Progress, Milwaukee, recently welcomed Matt Byrnes, as education development consultant. He has 24 years of workshop and web-based instructional experience.
