Melissa Opad has been promoted to client services manager at Pinnacle XL, Inc., Milwaukee. She will be responsible for managing client projects and a select number of key accounts, as well as overseeing internal and external resources for implementation services.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, recently added three new associates to the agency’s public relations group. Mandy Meissner joined the agency as an assistant account executive, Rachel Baum joined the agency as an assistant account executive and Janice Kayser joined the agency as a senior account executive.

Thiel Design, Milwaukee, recently hired Jen Bottcher as graphic designer. Bottcher will be responsible for creating print, web and motion media for clients’ marketing and advertising needs.

Banking & Finance

Marshal & Isley Corp., Milwaukee, recently added employees to its divisions. They include: John Larson, vice president of portfolio management, and Gayle Robinson, senior vice president and chief legal counsel in the M&I Wealth Management division. M&I Financial Advisors recently announced the promotion of Aaron Cross to vice president.

First Wisconsin Bank & Trust, Brookfield, recently announced that it has hired the following individuals: Janice Cardinal, consumer loan administrator; Amy Lynch, commercial operations specialist; Jessica Hernandez, private banking operations specialist; Maggie Marich, private banking account executive; Cheri Bradish, commercial loan administrator; Dan Bushnel, commercial client services; and Courtney Knutson, commercial client services

Securant Bank & Trust, Menomonee Falls, recently announced the appointment of Sandy Winkler as a loan services support processor, and Renee Mayeshiba as customer service representative in the Milwaukee branch.

Building & Construction

Terry Tokarski and Julie Mawbey recently joined Mortenson Construction as project accountants. Tokarski will be located in Mortenson’s Brookfield office and Mawbey will work with the Aurora Medical Center project team in the Town of Summit.

Health Care

Abri Health Plan, West Allis, recently added new additions to its staff including Sabrina Lee, promotion & outreach specialist; Tracy Reed, advocate; and Maria Padilla, bilingual care.

Dr. Priya Pais was recently appointed assistant professor of pediatrics in the division of nephrology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Pais comes to the Medical College from Northwestern University in Chicago, where she recently completed a pediatric nephrology fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital. 

Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, has announced the appointments of three vice presidents in information services. Jerry Janis has been named vice president for information services strategy and planning, Scott Novogoratz has been appointed vice president of clinic information systems, and Jeff Tracy, who has been with Aurora for ten years, has been named vice president of client services. George Hinton has also been appointed chief administrative officer for Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Milwaukee. Hinton joined Aurora Health Care in 2000 and has served in a variety of roles during his tenure.  Most recently he was the vice president of operations at Aurora Sinai and the vice president of academic affairs for Aurora Health Care. 

Dr. Tracey Cornella-Carlson will lead the development of a new inpatient eating disorders treatment program for children and adolescents at Rogers Memorial Hospital. Cornella-Carlson, a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist at Rogers Memorial, will be a hands-on leader and clinician in the new program scheduled to open this fall at Rogers Memorial in Milwaukee.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corp., recently announced that Brian Johnson has been named general manager of Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee. Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Marcus Hotels and Resorts, Johnson was general manager of The Madison Club in Madison for the past six years.

Legal Services

Megan Jerabek, recently joined Cook & Franke, S.C., Milwaukee, as an associate. She practices in the areas of corporate and business law, estate planning and probate, taxation, and real estate.

Manufacturing

A & E Inc., Racine, recently announced the following promotions at its A & E Hand Tools division: Keith Gruber has been promoted to director of manufacturing; Jason Horner has been promoted to vice president sales; Max Knoell has been promoted to sales manager; John Lang has been named director of marketing and R & D; Linda Baer-Stockero has been promoted to QA manager; and Jennifer Dirksmeyer has been hired in the newly created position of sales account manager.

The Waukesha County Community Foundation recently elected Brian Dorow of Hartland and Mark Poker of Brookfield to three-year terms on its board of directors. Dorow is associate dean of the department of criminal justice at Waukesha County Technical College, and Poker is an attorney and partner with Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee.

Poblocki Sign Company, West Allis, recently announced the expansion of its interior sign sales team with the addition of

Adam Katz. He has more than three years of signage sales experience, which includes negotiating sales contracts and coordinating custom-sign projects.

Grafton Transit Inc., West Bend, recently announced the appointment of Jim Weber as vice president of sales and marketing. Weber has more than 40 years of transportation sales and management experience, and will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities.

Grubb & Ellis | Apex Commercial, Brookfield, recently announced that Kraig Deeren has joined the firm as commercial associate. Deeren’s areas of focus include brokerage of industrial property, landlord representation, tenant / buyer representation, investment property acquisition and disposition and consulting services.

Deborah Benavides has joined Shorewest Realtors, Brookfield, as its new relocation director. Dik Wanke also joined Shorewest Realtors’ Burlington office as a sales associate, and Sue Linsmeier joined the Shorewest Elmbrook/Wauwatosa Office as a sales associate.

Elizabeth Louzecky has recently joined the Milwaukee area office of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. Louzecky joins with 13 years of experience in corporate finance. Ricardo Ramos also recently joined the Glendale area office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  

Technology

Terra Nova, Inc., Waukesha, recently announced new staff appointments. Ken Miller joined as a systems designer, Sean Copher joined as a systems programmer, and Minh Nguyan joined as a design intern.

Utility Services

Advanced Waste Services, West Allis, recently announced the appointment of Thomas Hipp as director of professional services. Prior to his hiring at Advanced Waste Services, Hipp served as national sales manager for Pollution Control Industries, Inc., Chicago.
