Clifton Gunderson LLP, Wauwatosa, recently announced that Jacob Lenell, has been promoted to senior manager in the assurance services department. Lenell joined Clifton Gunderson in 2006 and has more than six years of public accounting experience. His area of expertise includes auditing and consulting for public sector organizations.

S.C., Brookfield, recently announced the following promotions: Barbara DeFaut, payroll specialist II; Jessie Hackbarth, coding and education advocate; Jennifer Kramer, tax supervisor; Sue Michalski, retirement plan services manager; James Mieritz, accounting and auditing supervisor; and Craig Neuens, accounting and auditing manager.

Securant Bank & Trust, Menomonee Falls, recently welcomed five new employees to area locations including: Spencer Mather, as assistant vice president of commercial banking, Jan Sherman, as private banking officer, and Stephanie Rooney as branch operations manager, at the Hartland branch, Rose Metke, as a private banking officer in the Slinger Branch, and Sarah McKinley-Payne, as a product support representative in the Milwaukee branch.

Marshall & Ilsley Corp., Milwaukee, recently announced additions and promotions in a few of its divisions. M&I Equipment Finance recently promoted Jud Snyder to senior vice president. He has over 14 years of industry experience. Heather Sampson and Christine Millonzi were recently promoted to vice presidents at M&I Bank.

Building & Construction

Bukacek Construction, Racine, recently announced the addition of Cathy Brady to the firm as assistant project manager. In this role, she will be responsible for providing pre-construction services, project management support, and ensuring that the owner’s needs are achieved.

MSI General Corp., Oconomowoc, recently hired Jonathan Styx as a structural engineer, and Julie Mitchell as a project director. Styx worked previously as a geotechnical engineer with Midwest Engineering Services in Waukesha. Mitchell was previously as an architect with MSI General. 

Joseph Lodde has joined the team of Total Team Construction LLC, Waukesha, as an assistant project manager/assistant superintendent. Lodde currently attends Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. His professional experience includes carpentry and general construction work in a subdivision development in New Berlin.

Chambers of Commerce and Visitors Bureaus

VISIT Milwaukee recently announced that Brent Foerster joined the organization as vice president of sales and marketing. Foerster has 20 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, most recently serving as general manager for the Hilton New Orleans Airport. He has worked the majority of his career in Minneapolis where he spent almost 15 years with the Hilton organization, holding top operations, marketing and sales post at the Minneapolis Hilton.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, recently named Christian Himsel director of the Rincker Memorial Library. Himsel succeeds Rev. Richard Wohlers who retired on May 31. Himsel had been serving as Concordia’s reference librarian since 2004. He began his library career at North Shore Library on Milwaukee’s North Shore, and joined the staff at Milwaukee’s Central Library shortly after graduating from UW-Milwaukee.

Kathleen Hohl was recently appointed director of public relations for Milwaukee Area Technical College. She replaces Jim Gribble who was appointed MATC’s director of marketing. Hohl previously held positions with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

Health Care

Aurora Advanced Healthcare recently announced that Dr. Ryan Cooley has joined the cardiac electrophysiology physician staff at the Good Hope Clinic, Milwaukee, the Menomonee Falls Clinic and the East Mequon Clinic. 

LifeTime OB/GYN, Ltd., with offices in Brookfield and Milwaukee, recently welcomed Dr. A. David Penney to its staff. Dr. Penney is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Christopher Krizek has been named executive director of the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints Foundation. Krisek will be responsible for leading the All Saints Foundation in its work to actively build and sustain philanthropic support for the advancement of health care in the communities served by Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints.

Community Memorial Hospital has also added four doctors to its medical staff. They include: Dr. Andreas Doermann, plastic and reconstructive surgery at Aurora Advanced Healthcare in Mequon; Dr. Roxanna Aldstadt, OB/GYN at West Bend Clinic in West Bend; Dr. David Boruta II, gynecologic oncology at Columbia St. Mary’s clinic in Whitefish Bay; and Dr. John Hijjawi, plastic and reconstructive surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin Sunnyslope Primary Care Clinic in Brookfield

William Bestor, president and CEO of Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, recently became a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for health care leaders. Fellow status represents achievement of the highest standard of professional development. Only 7,500 health care executives hold this distinction.

Insurance

Fitzgerald, Clayton, James & Kasten, Inc., Mequon, recently added Rick Brohmer to its staff as an account executive in the property and casualty department. He brings over twenty years of insurance industry experience to the firm.

Legal Services

DeWitt Ross & Stevens recently announced the addition of Molly Hall to the environmental and litigation group in Milwaukee and Madison. She previously worked as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and has spoken at U.S. embassy events in Germany about U.S. and European climate change policies.

Briesen & Roper, S.C., Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of eight attorneys: Shareholders: Linda Emery and Alexander Gerasimow; and associates: Thomas Alberti, Alison Helland, Laurel Johnson, Gottlieb John Marmet, Daniel Noonan and Jacob Winter.

Manufacturing

The Wagner Companies, Milwaukee, recently announced that Alexander Harris has joined their company as an estimator and customer service representative for Systems. Connie Knaak was also promoted to the position of manager of employee development and training. Knaak has served in a variety of positions at Wagner for the last 20 years.

Professional Organizations

The Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum Board of Trustees recently named Kirsten Lee Villegas as the new executive director. Villegas brings an extensive background in areas of non-profit public relations, marketing, fundraising, organizational development, and senior management. She most recently served as president of her own firm, Lake Country Consulting.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee recently announced that Linda Daley has been named chief financial officer of the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee. Linda has 15 years of finance experience, most recently with the Milwaukee Art Museum, where she served as CFO for five years.

American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin recently elected the following chapter officers: Beth Anderson, chairman; Robert Eisenbrown, vice chairman; Keith Ecke, secretary; Michael Hanrahan, treasurer, and newly elected member; William Carollo joined the board for a three year term.

Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee recently promoted two employees in preparation for its fall workplace-giving season.  John Jansen was promoted to interim executive director, and Melanie Hupfer was promoted to campaign systems coordinator. 

Tracy Kaschak was recently added to the Women for MACC Inc., (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) board of directors. Kaschak is currently sales manager for the Brookfield Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Professional Services

Joe Wilde Company, Inc., New Berlin, recently announced that Chris Teifke is the new president and owner of the firm, making it a third generation, family-owned business.  Teifke’s grandfather founded the garage door business in 1945 and she succeeds her father and uncle as president. The announcement follows the recent retirement of Joseph Wilde. Teifke has been with Joe Wilde Company since 1994 and most recently served as assistant vice president.

Real Estate

Brookfield based Shorewest Realtors recently announced that Ted Burton Jacobsen to its Delavan office. He specializes in the lakefront and second-home market. Jacobsen is a member of Lakes Area Realtors Association, Wisconsin Realtors Association and the National Association of Realtors since 1993. He has career sales of over $155 million.

Senior Living Communities

Michael Peer, manager of healthcare services at Kolb+Co, recently joined Milwaukee Catholic Home’s board of directors. He has been in public practice as well as private industry since 1995.  He has extensive experience working with clients in the health care and nonprofit industries. 

Staffing

CFS Virchow Krause, LLC recently announced the addition of Rachael Nork to its Milwaukee office as a financial recruiter. Nork has over nine years of experience in the staffing industry.

Technology

Comstar, Waukesha, recently announced that Matthew De La Pasqua has recently joined the Comstar team as a manager of corporate accounts. He brings 14 years of sales experience as well as website creation and ecommerce applications to Comstar.

Training & Development

Ken Cook Co., Milwaukee, recently announced that Timothy McAdow joined Ken Cook Co. as vice president of sales and marketing. McAdow comes to Ken Cook Co. with more than 20 years of experience in the printing and publishing industry. Most recently he served as director of sales and marketing at HC Miller Co., Green Bay.
