Asif Naseem, PDS president and chief executive officer and a 2014 MIT M+Vision visiting fellow, said the collaboration will allow the company to bring new and innovative offers to health care clients. PDS provides IT solutions, services and technologies to medium to large companies in health care, corporate and government/education industries. The privately held company has offices throughout the Midwest and was founded in 1986.

Naseem was named CEO of PDS in late 2014 and said at the time he wanted to augment the core strengths of the business with new opportunities.

The M+Vision Consortium’s Catalyst program includes a total of 131 collaborators from 88 research groups at 31 institutions. Thirty-four fellows have been recruited to the program since it was started in 2010. The group is working on 20 projects with the potential for impact on the health care industry and has made 50 publications, 25 invention disclosures and 15 patent applications.
