OnCourse Information Services to expand into former Actuant building

Learn more about:

An affiliate of OnCourse Information Services recently purchased a 66,121-square-foot industrial building at 6101 N. Baker Road in Glendale for $800,000.

The building was sold by Garland Enterprises, which was represented by Stephen Provancher and Adam Matson of NAI MLG Commercial.

OnCourse Information Services is currently located at 4066 N. Port Washington Road. The company will maintain that location and plans to move a division to the Baker Road building, Provancher said.

“They are going to need more space,” he said. “This is (going to be) a second location for them.”

OnCourse CEO Michael Sewart could not be reached for comment.

The Baker Road building is part of a three-building complex in Glendale formerly occupied by Actuant Corp. until it moved its headquarters to a new complex in Menomonee Falls in 2011. Earlier this year nonprofit Milwaukee Center for Independence leased the 83,000-square-foot former Acutant building at 6100 Baker Road. A lease is pending for the third former Glendale Actuant building, which is about 10,000 square feet in size, Provancher said. He declined to name the potential tenant.

“We are delighted to put three nice companies in these buildings,” he said.

The former Actuant buildings in Glendale had been mostly vacant since the company left in 2011 until now. Their occupancy is another example of the strength of the region’s industrial market, which has a vacancy rate of about 5.5 percent, according to Xceligent.

“There’s more demand (for industrial space) than I’ve seen in quite some time,” Provancher said.
