Oconomowoc Chamber to tackle workforce skills gap

The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Business over Breakfast meeting on Thursday, March 8, at Olympia Resort from 7 to 9 a.m.
The event is open to both businesses and the general public.
The topic of the breakfast is “Bridging the Skills Gap: What Role Do Education Systems Play?” The panel of experts to address the issue will include the following school district superintendents: Craig Jefson, Arrowhead Union High School District; Patricia Deklotz, Kettle Moraine School District; Patricia Neudecke r, Oconomowoc Area School District; JoAnn Sternke, Pewaukee School District; Todd Gray, School District of Waukesha; and Mike Shiels, dean of Industrial & Engineering Technologies Division at Waukesha County Technical College.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Paul Decker, who is a director at Maverick Innovations Lab, a Waukesha County Board Supervisor and a WCTC instructor.
