President Barack Obama will visit ZBB Energy Corp. in Menomonee Falls today. The White House said Obama will deliver remarks to workers at the ZBB plant.
ZBB develops and manufactures distributed energy storage solutions based upon the company’s zinc-bromine rechargeable electrical energy storage and power management technologies. The wholly owned subsidiaries of the company include ZBB Technologies Inc. and ZBB Technologies, Ltd.
In addition to visiting the energy storage firm, Obama will headline fundraisers for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Barrett and the Wisconsin Democratic Party.
This will be Obama’s fourth visit to the state since becoming president. The trip is part of a five-state swing to include Wisconsin, California, Washington, Ohio and Florida.
