Milwaukee private equity firm Generation Growth Capital Inc. has promoted Thomas P. Nye to vice president.
Nye joined Generation Growth in July 2012 as an associate and currently supports the firm’s M&A processes and day-to-day portfolio company management.
He previously served as an associate at Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., focusing on M&A and equity offerings in its industrial group. Nye has also worked at Emory & Co., Consumers Energy and The Boeing Co.

Nye holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University, a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
