“Our panel of judges agreed that the ongoing evolution of Northern Trust’s investment process places it firmly in the forefront of private banks,” said Yuri Bender, editor in chief of PWM and The Banker. “While Northern Trust has introduced an institutional-type of approach that matches assets to goals, it has also expanded its range of socially responsible investments, creating more choices for clients to include in their custom-built portfolios.”

“These awards reflect our firm commitment to helping clients reach their financial goals through our dynamic and customized approach to financial planning and investing,” said Jana Schreuder, president of wealth management at Northern Trust. “We help clients pinpoint priorities and construct investment strategies designed expressly to help them meet their goals. We are honored that the Financial Times Group recognized the innovative methods and specialized strategies, including a broad array of socially responsible investments, we employ on our clients behalf.”

The awards were presented by Professional Wealth Management and The Banker at a Nov. 8 ceremony in Singapore. An international panel of industry professionals judged the submissions and selected winners based on an examination of quantitative and qualitative factors.
