Nordstrom Inc. today posted on its career site the 375 jobs it plans to fill at its new Mayfair Store, which is set to open on October 23.
The Seattle-based upscale fashion retailer’s 140,000-square-foot, three-level anchor store was announced in December 2012 and the hiring plans and details about the store were announced in June.
For its in-store restaurant and its in-store coffee shop, the company is seeking candidates for the following roles: sous chef, chef, assistant restaurant manager, restaurant server, restaurant expeditor, restaurant busser, host/hostess, and barista.
On the retail side, Nordstrom is hiring for the following positions: visual stylist, retail sales-personal stylist, retail sales counter manager-cosmetics and fragrances, retail sales-cosmetics and fragrances, retail sales-accessories/handbags/jewelry, retail sales-kidswear/kids’ shoes, retail sales-men’s/women’s shoes, and retail sales-men’s/women’s apparel.
To support its operations, the store is seeking to hire for: cash room specialist, maintenance, loss prevention, inventory processor, logistics shipping/receiving, alterations and tailor shop fitter/sewer, alterations and tailor shop administrator, cleaning, and service experience specialist.
