Community Shares adds new board member
Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee recently named Jacquelyn Champagne, owner and attorney at JAC Consulting LLC, to its Board of Directors. JAC Consulting LLC, provides legal services and general counsel to business clients.
Prior to starting her consulting firm, Champagne taught law at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China and advised Chinese companies on litigation and risk assessment. Prior to teaching in China, Champagne worked as an attorney for eight years at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.
Variety Children’s Charity names board president
Variety – The Children’s Charity of Wisconsin has named Robert Menefee, vice president of Marcus Theatres, its new board president.
Menefee has been associated with Variety since 1986 as a purveyor to movie theatres across the Midwest. He has been with Marcus Theatres for nine years.
“I have served on the Board of Directors for Variety – The Children’s Charity of Wisconsin for two years and I am pleased to play a greater leadership role,” Menefee said.
According to Menefee, severe injuries to his six-month-old son and the loss of his infant twins due to premature birth has fueled his passion for making resources available for children and families to receive proper health care.
