What makes your organization unique? Stillwaters Center offers cancer patients and their families a personal approach to cancer support. Our programs complement the efforts of medical professionals and other cancer organizations by providing psychological, social and emotional support through a community of professional staff, volunteers, patients and their families. All services and programs are offered at no-cost to the participant.  Stillwaters is unique to Southeastern Wisconsin because we address the emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis, by offering professional counseling support services at no-cost to our clients.  Our licensed counselors specialize on oncology support, and have expertise in dealing with patients, survivors and family members.
Is your organization in search of board members? yes
How can business people/the community help your organization?
We are a small agency with limited financial and human resources.  Businesses and individuals can assist by donating in-kind services or making donations to our organization. We also need volunteer resources to help plan and implement our special events, and to get the word out about our organization.
