Nominate your employees for Inspire by Example Awards

The Inspire by Example awards are given to Milwaukee County volunteers for their hours of community service, and to recognize local businesses for promoting, encouraging and supporting employee volunteerism. Winning nonprofit organizations will receive a $500 donation. Businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to highlight employee volunteers and be recognized county-wide.
The size of your company or sophistication of your program does not matter.  Judges rank entries on a one-page summary of the following:
Summary – The mission or purpose of the employee volunteer program and it is supported by management.
Community Need – What specific needs are addressed and who receives the services.   Also include any initiatives that were developed.
Results – What specific results were achieved?
Operation – How many employees participate; how often is service provided; how is service funded; what distinguishes this business volunteer program from others?
Reflection – Offer your personal comments here – anything you wish to share that was not covered above.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Feb. 5, past business winners include Froedtert Hospital, Metavante Corporation, Manpower, Johnson Controls, Kohl’s, and  Northwestern Mutual. Awards will be distributed at the 28th Annual Volunteer Celebration Wednesday, April 14th at the Italian Community Center.
