New women’s organization to launch in Milwaukee

Femfessionals, a national, women’s business organization and innovative network, has launched FemCity Milwaukee, a new group for professional women and business owners.
Michelle Marie Bertholf, coordinator of the corporate and nonprofit division at Exciting Events will be president of the organization’s Milwaukee chapter.
“It is an honor to be selected as a leader that exemplifies the Femfessional brand of an ambitious, positive woman who desires to connect,” said Bertholf. “FemCity Milwaukee is made up of successful business women dedicated to helping other business women succeed, and who are also committed as a group to make a difference in the larger community.”
Femfessionals will host Connection Events and quarterly philanthropic events for diverse groups of women looking to make new strategic connections to strengthen their business and social circle, Bertholf said.
The organization will also provide an interactive website with resources a searchable directory and a mentor program.
Members can also receive promotional rates and discounts on products and services through the Femfessional Organization.
In addition to her work with Exciting Events, Bertholf also launched Michellemarieonline.com, a branding website that combines her passions for the nonprofit community and fashion to build fundraising initiatives.  
The organization will host its first event in January, Bertholf said.
Other members of the organization’s board of directors include: Andrea Tadych, vice president; Annie Almasi Gerlach, PR and marketing chair; Amanda Falkowski, social media chair; Kelly Andrew, philanthropic and outreach chair; Michelle Hale, social affairs and events chair; Dani Christen, member relations chair; Rebecca Marlis, photographer chair; Tiffany Ann Ross, treasurer and Stefanie Lambert, mentorship program chair.
