New hires and promotions

Kenosha-based Jockey International Inc. has hired Susan Lindquist as senior vice president, human resources. Lindquist holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Illinois. She most recently served as vice president, human resources at Pabst Brewing Company.
Actuant Corporation has appointed David Scheer executive vice president, electrical segment, William Axline as executive vice president, global customer relationships and Varun Vijay Rao as India Country Leader. Scheer earned a bachelor’s in economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace. He most recently served as COO of the GranQuartz division of Pearlman Enterprises. Axline is moving from the electrical segment to this new role. Rao earned a bachelor’s in mathematics and physics from Elon College and a master’s in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State. He previously served as managing director of light vehicles systems in India for Inteva Products.
