New hires and honorees

Milwaukee-based Integrated Medical Partners LLC has hired J. Brian Bruce as vice president of business development. Bruce has 27 years of experience in the health care industry, including sales and marketing strategy in the anesthesia revenue cycle management space, as well as technology start-ups.

Prior to joining IMP, Bruce helped bring to market Vigilant Health, a working clinical model for the Perioperative Surgical Home. He previously served as senior vice president of business development at Medac Inc. and Kam Technologies LLC for 10 years, where he led sales initiatives to help grow the company’s market share.

Brookfield-based Connecture Inc., a provider of web-based information systems used to create health insurance marketplaces, announced the appointments of William “Bill” Spehrwill to executive vice president of sales and marketing and David Sockel to executive vice president of strategy and corporate development.

Spehrwill joins Connecture from WebMD Health Services, where he served as chief sales officer and led teams that generated record new sales growth. Sockel co-founded Connecture, where he has held a number of roles including chief revenue officer and senior vice president of corporate and sales development.

The Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association will honor Body Mechanics Physical Therapy founder Andy Kerk with the 2014 Physical Therapist of the Year Award at its WPTA spring conference awards dinner on Thursday. Body Mechanics has locations in downtown Milwaukee, Pewaukee and Madison.
