NBA imposes new security screens for all fans

Learn more about:

Effective with tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets and all of the Milwaukee Bucks’ games hereafter, the NBA is requiring that all fans entering the BMO Harris Bradley Center will be screened and wanded by security staff.

To prevent any excessive waiting or long lines, the Bucks suggest that guests arrive early and that any unnecessary items be left in their locked vehicles if possible. The team said fans should arrive with any bags or purses are open and ready for inspection when the screener position is reached. Keys and metallic objects should be held in their hand upon arrival.

The league said the change in policy is not the result of any specific finding or experience in Milwaukee. It is a league mandate, and all 30 teams and venues are required to comply.
