Mukwonago HVAC business will move to Milwaukee’s west side

Owner of Unified Heating and Air Conditioning purchasing vacant city-owned property

The operator of an HVAC business in Mukwonago is planning to move his company to a vacant mixed-use building on Milwaukee’s west side.

5725 W. Burleigh St.

William Yeager is purchasing the two-story, 8,087-square-foot building at 5725 W. Burleigh St. from the city of Milwaukee for $15,000.

Yeager has owned and operated Unified Heating and Air Conditioning in Mukwonago, 111 Atkinson St., for more than 10 years, and plans to relocate the business to the Milwaukee building, according to city documents.

Yeager could not immediately be reached for comment.

The business will be located on the first floor. Yeager plans to live in the three-bedroom apartment on the upper level, according to city documents.

Renovations to the building include will interior improvements, painting and new windows. The project will cost approximately $85,000.

The city has owned the building since January 2015, when it was obtained through a property tax foreclosure.
