MU to host real estate strategy conference

The Marquette University College of Business Administration’s Center for Real Estate on Thursday, Sept. 6, will host a half-day real estate strategy conference titled “Long-Term Investing in a Short-Term Market Environment.”

The event, which will be held in the 3rd-floor ballroom of the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, will begin at 1 p.m. The public event is $75 per person.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Tom McDonald, chief strategic officer for Chicago-based Equity International. McDonald, who has been with the company since its inception in 1999, is primarily responsible for building and optimizing the firm’s partner relationships and directs various portfolio companies.
The keynote presentation will be followed by two panel discussions on equity investor strategies and the changing space markets, led by Danny Queenan, CEO of Trammell Crow Company, and Dr. Mark Eppli, Bell Chair in Real Estate.
