Milwaukee Lock company launches password storage smartphone app

Organizations:

Milwaukee-based Master Lock Company LLC has released a smart phone application that allows users to store and retrieve any and all confidential access information in a safe secure way. The Master Lock Vault application stores passwords and lock combinations in any format and hosts them in a secure place.
“"We are becoming a more security-conscious society surrounded by passwords, and it’s not easy to remember them all, much less store them safely," said Rebecca Smith, vice president of marketing for Master Lock. “As a leader in off-line security solutions, it’s only natural that we take our expertise online and provide consumers with the safest method to store and retrieve passwords and combinations in a secure environment from a brand they trust."
Master Lock Vault is opened with one unique username and password that is created on the application website, https://www.masterlockvault.com. According to a company spokesperson, mobile versions of the same website are available and will launch from any smart phone when visiting the same address. Users with Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad or iTouch can download the application for free from the App Store.
