Masonic Center hotel

Ascendant Holdings LLC is planning to turn the Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center building in downtown Milwaukee into a 220-room hotel. The hotel rooms would be located in a 14-story tower above the existing three-story, 80,000-square-foot building at 790 N. Van Buren St. The developer is seeking approval for the project from the City of Milwaukee.
