Marquette University will host its 8th annual Real Estate Strategies Conference on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.

Mary Ludgin, senior managing director and head of global research for Chicago-based Heitman, will give the keynote address. It will focus on the four major real estate assets classes and the future of the workplace.
Pat Goepel, chief executive officer of Austin, Texas-based Asure Software, was recently added to the speaker lineup for the conference. He will talk about using real-time analytics and artificial intelligence to drive building efficiency and usage.
The event will also include a panel discussion on the future of the workforce. The panelists will include:
- Jason Greer, managing director and head of transaction services for Dallas-based Invesco Real Estate.
- Josh Jeffers, president and CEO of Milwaukee-based J. Jeffers & Co.
- Scott Marshall, president and chief development officer of Chicago-based Hana (a CBRE company)
- Kim Liautaud, managing director and head of U.S. commercial real estate for Chicago-based BMO Harris Bank
