The board of directors of Briggs & Stratton Corp. has elected Todd Teske as chairman of the board and James E. Humphrey as a director of the company effective upon conclusion of the 2010 annual meeting of shareholders, which is currently scheduled for October. They succeed John S. Shiely, who will be retiring as chairman and a director at that time.

Teske is resident & CEO and a director of the company. Humphrey will serve as a member of the class of directors whose terms of office expire in 2012, filling the vacancy created by Shiely’s retirement.  Humphrey is chairman and chief executive officer of Andersen Corp.

Dresser Waukesha has named Bob Hutchinson vice president of aftermarket. He will be responsible for the ongoing development, management and growth of the company’s aftermarket business including sales of Genuine Waukesha Parts, product training and service.

Hutchinson comes to Dresser Waukesha from Cummins, Inc. where he was vice president and general manager – parts and service. During his 20 year tenure with Cummins, Hutchinson held a series of progressively responsible positions that included plant manager, general manager of remanufacturing and various roles in aftermarket support.
