Lynne Holton, senior designer with Poblocki Sign Company recently won first place in the category of architectural/sign system/wayfinding in the 62nd Annual Sign Design Competition.
The International Sign Association, the organization that hosts the competition, presented Holton with the award for a monument sign she created for Coast Restaurant located on Milwaukee’s lakefront. The routed sign is five-feet high by seven-feet wide, and features LED downlighting.
Steve Showers was recently hired as general manager at Greendale-based Uzelac Industries. Showers previously served as Installations Operations Manager at Kone Elevator in Brookfield, WI. Uzelac Industries is the parent company of Duske Drying Systems and Industrial MetalFab Specialties. Showers will be responsible for managing both companies in his new role.
