Manufacturing Career Expo

The Ozaukee County Workforce Development Center recently partnered and formed a committee with the Port-Washington-Saukville School District, Charter Manufacturing, Ozaukee Economic Development, Sauk Technologies and Kleen Test Products to offer a Manufacturing Career Expo for youth. The event was held at Port Washington High School. Fourteen local manufacturing companies attended the event to provide details about their specific organization as well as educate youth about the manufacturing industry and the skills, talent and abilities that they may need to become successful in a manufacturing career. Approximately 300 high school students from Port Washington and Northern Ozaukee School District visited the expo.
