“The UPAF Ride for the Arts is an energizing way to support our area’s lively performing arts scene,” said Prising, an avid cyclist. “The UPAF Ride jumpstarts the summer season of diverse recreational activities, including organized biking events. I specifically enjoy this ride because it allows cyclists and volunteers to connect with the important business of supporting the arts, vital assets for the retention and recruitment of local talent.”

The ride is a staple UPAF fundraising event held every year since 1981. Registration fees for individuals start at $60. Families can participate for $175. Johnson Bank will match pledges from riders up to $25,000. Those interested in participating can register on UPAF’s website.

UPAF’s fundraising goal for 2016 is $12.26 million.
