Mandel Group’s Adventure Rock project ready to break ground

Organizations:

Milwaukee-based multi-family housing development firm Mandel Group Inc. will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, May 20 to celebrate the start of construction for its Adventure Rock apartment project.

Actual construction work on the project could begin as early as this week, Mandel Group chief operating officer Robert Monnat said.

The 46-unit apartment building will also have an 18,000-square-foot Adventure Rock climbing gym. It will be built southeast of East North Avenue and North Commerce Street in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood.

After work begins on the Adventure Rock project, Mandel Group next plans to begin work on its Domus project. Construction of the 132-unit apartment building between the Milwaukee River and Erie Street in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward will begin “by this summer,” Monnat said.

After construction for Domus begins, Mandel Group next plans to break ground on the fourth phase of the North End project, which will consist of about 250 apartments in two buildings along North Water Street just north of downtown.
