Make ‘noise’ for charity

Learn more about:

Noise Inc., a branding communications agency with offices in Milwaukee and in Sanibel, Fla., will kick off a holiday giving campaign tomorrow throughout the city of Milwaukee.
According to Tony Seaman, vice president of Noise in Milwaukee, the company will place thousands of sleigh bells throughout three different neighborhoods in Milwaukee.
“Our goal is to blanket a few high traffic areas of Milwaukee with sleigh bells as a reminder that this holiday season, every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings,” Seaman said.
In this case, a local nonprofit organization will receive a donation from Noise, Inc.,
“We’ve attached a card to each bell that instructs individuals to text a number which will allow us to donate $1 to the selected organization,” he said.
Noise has done the same thing for an organization in Florida. The names of the organization will be announced at a later date.
“We really wanted to give back this holiday season, and we also wanted to do it in a way that encouraged other people to get involved in giving back this season even if it wasn’t from their own pockets,” Seaman said. “It’ll be interesting to see how many people participate.”
The firm has done a small amount of social media build up around the event, and will also be filming the different areas for a video, he added.
Starting early Friday morning and throughout the weekend, individuals in Milwaukee can look for the sleigh bells in the blocks surrounding Cathedral Square, North Avenue on the East Side and in the Third Ward in a two or three block stretch of Broadway, Seaman said.
