Machining & Maintenance Expo’15 to be held May 6

Milwaukee-based Busch Precision Inc. is scheduled to host its first-ever Machining & Maintenance Expo on Wednesday, May 6. Consisting of tours, learning and networking, the expo will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Busch Precision’s location, 8200 N. Faulkner Road.

More than 20 industry vendor and community partners will serve as exhibitors, with robotic demonstrations and technical sessions on topics ranging from metalworking and fluid issues to CNC programming and alignment techniques.

All-day technical sessions will be done by companies such as Siemens, Fives Machining Systems (formerly Giddings & Lewis) and Castrol.

Vendor exhibitors include: Allied Bearing Corp.;  Alro Steel Corp.; Applied Industrial Technologies; Dynatect Manufacturing Inc.; Eagle Grinding and Plating; FANUC America Corp.; Griffin Gear; Havlik Gear; Heidenhain Corp.; Holt Electric Supply Corp.; Mechanical Solutions LLC; Milwaukee Area Technical College; MSC Industrial Supply; Rempco Inc.; Renaissance Power Systems LLC; ThermTech Inc.; Waukesha County Technical College; and WiscoLift Inc.

In other Busch Precision news, it has been named a finalist for the 2015 Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin’s Torch Award for Ethics, a statewide competition that honors companies and charities who do business in Wisconsin and demonstrate excellence in such aspects as ethical practices and service excellence.
